ok.. so for a comparison... it depends on person to person-
1. placement of fingerprint sensor
2. a dedicated home button and soft keys(which i think is better)
3. Performance enhancement in s8(not by MUCH)
4. Same camera, same edge, just a little different elongated screen(infinity)
and both these devices are fragile.. it would cost u a kidney to replace the screen on top of costing arms and legs for the phone itself! :p
so choose for yourself!
Btw.. i am satisfied with s7 edge... since no phone is perfect... and lags after a certain amount of time ( or by having too many apps.. which also drains the battery drastically ), i would recomment to go for budget flagships like OnePlus. and as every technology get old in a while... ul b able ti change ur phone for some newer latest tech.. at a nominal amount!

I am a he... moreI was in the same spot as u but after a lot of thinking went for s7 edge 128gb modal cause if u compair the 64gb s8 is still a bit more expensive than the 128 gb s7 edge cause what u get with s7 edge is a way higher battery capacity like 600mah more plus another 64gb internal memory at spare.
As u r a heavy gamer like me extra 600mah battery and extra 64gb internal memory will always be a plus cause games now a days are very resource hungry (have big size data files) and consume more power from ur device.
Other thing is the s8+ 64gb is still very expensive and s8+ 128gb varient is way out of reach in terms of price even if its available in ur country..any ways i dont want to force my decision on u,just sharing my opinion ...all the best

Comes with a 5.2 inch screen and the edge take part of it. So you will get 5 inch at max. When the market is full of really beautiful 5.5 inch + devices, it looks smaller. I can't imagine watching a video on this small screen. Regards.

Also it's infinity display looks really beautiful and lack of physical button make it more practical. And last thing do not listen to these S7 Edge users, S7 Edge has it's own problems and they will lie and advice you to go for S7 Edge. But if you do you will regret later. galaxy S7 Series was cursed and better to avoid it specially the S8 is available now. Regards. :-)

Even without fast charging it won't take 3 hours. 1st check the cable maybe it is damaged from inside. Then check the charger. Borrow an original charger from somebody and charge. However it won't take 3hours. Approximately it take 2 hours and 20 minutes for full charge without fast charging.

It's even smaller in dimension than the Pixel with 5.0" and the S6 with 5.1" also. The S7 edge is on the large side. It's actually quite eccentric. Yes, it's smaller than most 5.5" phones out there but the display also appears to be narrower due to the curves. Imagine your TV screen being curved on both edges. So annoying. What exactly is the purpose of that other than for aesthetic one? I will never buy a phone with a curved display.
