go ahead with regular S7. the price still different highly between S7 and the Edge model
but from Software, Performance, Quality, is all the Same.
the different is only 3 point from my opinion :
1. Battery capacity
2. Edge Screen feature + dual Curve Screen
3. Large inches
Honestly, edge feature is not too important, it just like a quick shortcut, so.. if Im right, regular S7 is on your way :)

Galaxy S5 : Adreno 330 | Galaxy S7 : Adreno 530 (US version).
but I prefer ARM-Mali (Exynos GPU) because heavy gaming solution what I know from past year, the best android Mobile GPU performance is on Mali. for S7, Mali T880 has 12 cores up to 16 cores (SC), inside of ARM-Mali. I dont know exactly about Adreno, this is improvement balancing version for US.. Im sorry.. global has a great way much than US. That's All for GPU

this phone is very good just bought it 3 weeks ago S7 Edge. battery life long lasting. im still sticking with marshmallow (comfortable with it) ain't gonna take any risk up to nougat. bed time usually i turn on flight mode (7 hours sleep), when awake most of the time it drop 1 - 2% only. play "hill climb racing 2" for 30 minutes consume about 6 - 7% juice daily.

Then when I decided to update to nougat, I first factory rest then I downloaded the nougat update and again I factory reset it. I found that the battery backup to be better than marshmallow. Also the new features are nice. Also overall smoothness is very good. Previously I owned galaxy s5 exynos. Then I upgraded to s7 edge. I find the gpu to be much much better than gs5. It really is a nice upgrade.

But after buying it you should "factory reset" the device immediately. The first owner may say that he has already done factory reset but if you do deal the you should still do a factory reset before using it. Regards.

Is it safe to buy this mobile used (second hand) if KNOX is still intact? I normally don't buy used phones but may need a temporary phone and was thinking this might be the safer bet because if the KNOX is still active that means it's running the original rom and don't need to worry about any potential malware/spyware software or hidden in a 3rd party rom installed on the phone, right?

Thanks for your comment. Actual my phone did not drop and it shows dark grey vertical lines without any kind of drop or water damage. It is a very disturbing problem. Have anyone faced the problem and solved it? Will appreciate for share.

Googled it , and found somewhere that some connection might get faulty on drops . That might be the case .

At today early morning suddenly i have several dark lines on the display. Googled it and find nothing specific except to apply full brigthness it is not visible. But when the display gets dimm it is visible. Any solution hardware or software wise? Mine is black SM-G935F.
