Is it still worth it? I hate the S8 design, but im also considering OnePlus 3T (or 5 if it will be priced reasonably) and Sony XZ premium which should i go for?

The phone can have any high end specs , but the first time it has to be a phone to speak at it.And fot a lot of people this is to big for a phone . This phone is made only people with big hands and people who want bigger screen and it is not important to them how the phone fill in hands .
I don t understand this days about increse the size , s7 has ok size , but this is already to much , what you want in future ? to speak at your tv screen ?

i have s7edge and with one drop over floor just one time,display was cracked and now my phone is garbage ,beacause lcd price is same as whole of phone price in stock

It's like a new phone again.. I recommend nova launcher just so you can get the swipe up app drawer.. then you're good to go.

don't look about the price, many market, region, or country they're sold with different price, if you luck, you get the cheaper price, and I think the global version will get more expensive because their specs and other things
And don't look about the specs or software even feature called "Mid Range", this phone has Cooling System, Dual Pixel AF 100% rate just in one lens, very quick phase detection, DSLR professional camera technology, Super Amoled, QHD, HRM, 3600mAh, Vulkan API (next generation of programing interface especially gaming performance), IP68, dual curve screen, wireless charging, and much more... can any Mid Range phone has all of them?, or One of them.

honestly, this phone has 2 models, US and Global, and many issue come from qualcomm snapdragon that's US version exactly
If you complain about the edge screen, how about Galaxy S8 with 2 models but both are edge screen too, Samsung can't discontinue their project from removing the edge screen, because that's almost impossible other companies phones do that, screen curve, display curve, create 3d angle of view, beautiful to looks, also touchscreen sensor being curve too, touchscreen sensor will not activate on the edge when not necessary to avoid from being touched when you holding it. That's All.

the side bezel, is not silver anymore, it's combine with gold color, so looks amazing enough
