don't forget about lock screen animation from this phone
because of Super Amoled display, there is no phone except samsung has amazing lock screen animation like started turn off amoled screen from both side left and right to the middle of the screen when you press the lockscreen, just like close a window :')
that's pretty cool than common fast Fade animation
I admit IPS-LCD/TFT can't do that, big problem for backlight it will cause greyscale color

but.. inside of this phone is still unbelievable power, there is no many phone have, wireless charging, cooling system, vulkan (API), heart rate monitor, dual pixel technology, ip68, sAmo display, gorgeous metal color, and about the processor is not so far from Galaxy S8, they just increase little bit on S8

My phone (Samsung S7 Edge) has been stolen at 17 march 2017. So, I used Android Device Manager to locate my phone, but I remembered that I did something stupid, I turned Remotely locate this device off, I know that I shouldn't do this stupid decision.
When I open Android Device Manager I found that my phone was powered on and my Gmail account was synced seven times I think through last two weeks.
Can you imagine I know my mobile is connected to network but I can't locate him?!, So can you advise me to do anything to retrieve my phone? and I will never forget this favor.

I'm confused which one is a better buy after the nougat update S7 or S7 edge?
And are there any other differences between the two except of the screen and size?

just got the nougat 7.0 update, nothing to offer but this small icons and letters, have an eye problem so I'm not happy with this update, hope there's something more this update could offer aside from this or even just for the battery life, it's not even faster than marshmallow version.! (Philippines)

Love the s7 edge mine is in silver just got it. Not ready to ditch the home keys or step into the future of the s8 as the s7 in my opinion is just as good

Not happy with the new software update. Now the icons are too small to read without finding my glasess, when before I could read them and they are a dull white.Notifications are smaller also and look messy compared with before the download. The sms list is not as nice looking. It like a step backwards on how it displays. The alarm clock I always used now will not show color so downloaded other night led clocks and although I can choose a colour it will not come on the clock. The clock as a strange font and cant change that. I wish I could go back to the previous software. The phone was easier to use then and that is not because I don't embrace change. I am all for that if it improves systems or enhances them.

Pabits, 28 Mar 2017I can't find the Nougat update still now. :( my friend and me has the same device S7 edge global version (G935FD)
and it already upgrade to Nougat from Notification software update on the same day too
we're will waiting for android v.8.0 soon... I got feeling the GUI, and the Icon is similar on S8

AnonD-524168, 28 Mar 2017My s7 edge... charging Not showing estimate reamning time..... moreDo factory reset or hard reset. Things will become normal again. You can find online method to do so. But backup all your data before doing so as all the dsta will be lost upon hard/factory reset..

Turn off the phone then simultaneously press on the volume UP button, the POWER button, and the HOME button until you are directed to the boot screen. Then using your volume down button select the "wipe cache partition" and press the power button. Then use the volume down button to select yes and power button to enter. Then press power button again and that should restart your phone. I do this after every update and fixes whatever battery drainage occurs after update.. if it doesn't works then try Factory Data Reset.
