First time using an Android Samsung galaxy edge S7. Geting used to the Android system. It's a lovely phone, no doubt about it!

Just bought a s7 edge 1 thing disappointing me is the camare . The flash light didn't work in auto mode at dark area. Anyone here has this issue? How to solve it?

I had s1,s2,s3, and s4 before. Phones were not that great. I don't own the s7 or s7 edge. Paying over $800 for a damn phone? This is where good consumers and ignorant consumers come into play.

Anonymous, 12 May 2016So you are the one using the S7 Edge, not your wife.So, you think it should be off limits to me? I can't monitor and report a battery usage? I'm her technician to optimize the S7 Edge. It's basically conjugal property.
One feature I like about the camera is the motion photo. Samsung isn't the first to have this, but the short extra video wroth a still shot is a nice one. More reason for a memory expansion slot.

Just bought this phone a week ago. From my experience using S7 Edge :
- This phone one of the best android's phones til now
- If u want compare this phone, compare it with LG G5 or HTC 10, don't compare it with another OS Phone (u only find the endless of debate)
- As far as i concern the only weakness for this phone is only Loudspeaker

And apparently the volume key issue is just a software issue which would be solved very soon with the next update.
But I still don't like the UI, it is not as good as the Vanilla Android UI of Nexus. And the Android N preview on my Nexus 6 clearly shows that the features of TouchWiz are pretty much available in the upcoming Android N.
I'm pretty sure once the new Nexus device is released no one would buy this phone.

Most phones have 4 hours sot... moreS7 Edge Exynos version performed 15 hours, with over 7 hours of Screen On Time, mostly on wifi, about 350mb usage and 15% left. Not bad. About two hours of light games, an hour of YouTube, and the rest with browsing and testing the camera for 30 minutes. Absolutely impressive for light usage without heavy torrent downloads. This is using the S7 Edge whole day yesterday.
Having an extra 600mAh or 20% more than 3000mAh of the Note.5 or S6 Edge Plus or regular S7 makes the S7 Edge Plus a better choice for usage stamina. However, I will expect a 20% degrade of the battery in 5 to 6 months' time. So, having the rumored 4000mAh or 4200mAh battery for the Note 6 will be a welcome for my heavy usage of normally using 2 to 4 GB of LTE data daily use.
I don't see much usefulness of the Edge functions as I use SwipePad for even more shortcuts. The curved edge is perfect with SwipePad.

karim salah, 11 May 2016what do u mean by during one day battery droped by 20%?Battery level was left at 20%. Most phones have 4 hours sot. If you want better sot go for Xiaomi Redmi 3. I'm typing on my phone so I do typing mistakes.I still testing my battery.

Bigger phones feel bulky at first but once you're used to them it's easy to get hooked to bigger is better seeing as you can view more of the online world in one go.
