Phone is awesome for some of its features like camera, battery life, size to handle, dual sim or expandable memory, AOD, but certainly who already had galaxy 6 edge plus have no advantage of 7 edge except for the above said features especially after getting marshmallow update in 6 edge plus.

Sound nice but I rather wait for s8 next year.. I'm no hurry as I'm keep my s6 edge at the moment cos it good one, I don't need SD cards as I used sandisk wireless USB stick which easily transfer to and from phone.. It lots easier.. I save up for next year.

I think the battery is a big plus for me from the s5 a full day nearly with fairly heavy game use is great.The memory card slot and waterproofing made it an easy decision for me come upgrade time, thanks Samsung one happy customer.And throwing in a gear vr was a nice bonus left it on the side for a few days when I got the phone,opened it up and had a play fantastic experience especially the photos videos a bit blurred bit will probably only get better with time.l played first game today interesting experience again will only get better the phone was very hot after 15 mins game play so obviously gave the chip a good workout,can only imagine where this will go in a few years, love it.

Why it has tricked us, memory card only for downloads, very few apps transferable. We customers are illiterate n knowledge of software.

My S7 Edge had the Samsung pay icon, then there was a software update and the Samsung Pay icon disappeared. Anyone else with this issue in the UK?

Guys what's the availabe memory for use from the 32 GB in S7 Edge ?
My Note 4 when I bought it had 25 GB free memory & also my previous Note 3

The storage is a bit of a let down.
In actuality the 32G was reduced 19G internal space, which was used for the OS and the built-in apps that you can't remove or transfer.
Not all apps that you downloaded from the Play Store and Samsung Essentials can be transferred to the SD card. Even the OCULUS downloads eat up the internal space.
I hope they can do something about it.

Batteries found in s6, s6 edge, note 5, s6 edge + and s7, s7 edge are li-ion polymer that means better effiency, more cycles, and better safety than those removable found in other brands like LG. Non-removable batteries can last twice and more than those removable in terms of life or cycles also costs more as well. Before I have bought an Iphone 6 I had a samsung galaxy s5 and after 1 year battery started really degrading and lost about 30% of the capacity. Know I see the difference between these batteries also my Iphone 6 is showing the same battery after 1 year of use.

The only thing which makes me not to buy this phone is the lack of Ir blaster I don't understand why samsung removed the ir blaster Will go for lg g5 this year.

S7 Edge is not Just 12MP it is Dual 12MP, which means it is 24MP quality, S7 Edge camera was superb and the best camera in smartphone. i used and compare my S7 Edge camera with my younger brother's cell S6 Edge and my S7 edge clear win against S6 edge which have a 16MP

Nobody's talking about its dam price, n Dubai 3000 dhrs, more than 800 $. A fortune, seems everybody's n owning it, but faking it. Heavens not going to fall if we can wait, definitely get it cheaper,and more options as colors or dual Sim.

I know, many spec on this phone are near perfect, but it do has it's short coming.
No FM radio, no IR blaster, only release 32GB version on some region, no 128GB internal storage as option as well. My region simply don't has the S7, only S7 Edge.
I know the reason, cost cutting, force user to adapt to the choice given.
It's edges curve screen is just cosmetic stuff, no real usage, unlike the Samsung Note Edge, where the curve is much larger, and allow for showing something more useful that really can scroll and select.
Unlike Galaxy Note Edge, S7 Edge screen and apps utilize full edge screen as normal screen, sometime making swiping and touching a bit difficult on the curve edge if the icon appear at the edges. Do notice when taking camera, the image distort on the edge. But that is just curve distortion on display (my personal preference only, I don't like it), the image captured is fine.
One more thing I feel very over hyped is the Gear VR. This phone, despite having high 534ppi AMOLED screen, do feel much less fidelity in VR, due to it's pentile pixel arrangement. At the road show demo, I immediately notice the pentile screen has too much hollow, can see individual pentile sub-pixel color (Red Green, Blue Green sub pixel). Then, the pentile sub-pixel rendering with diamond pattern also reduce the screen output detail, making everything on the screen has less detail. Not much of a problem if using the phone normally, but in the VR head set, this simply destroy the viewing pleasure, I notice the screen pixelate a lot. But the VR head set is one on the market that actually comfortable to wear, and the headset do has "Enter" and "Back" button for VR apps navigation. The VR allow for focus adjustment, but no eye distance adjustment. The demo show the Marvel's Avengers 2, Age Of Ultron moment on attacking the Ultron.
The demo sales person simply said it is due to the video quality is not good, that affect the viewing pleasure, I do not agree with him. Maybe the smaller S7 is a bit better with 577ppi, my region don't has that phone launching. (I tried before OPPO Find 7 with 534ppi LCD screen, simply that phone screen is much better on VR, test on third party VR head set)
I know I am asking too much. I am not bashing it, I just tell the truth.
