Thought I'd share my experience on the S7 Edge.
I received my Galaxy S7 Edge at the beginning of the week and am now returning for a refund. How Samsung have had the nerve to release this phone when it has so many bugs is beyond belief, especially considering the issues with the S6. The S7 has a number of common features with the S6, it runs very hot, it crashes, it freezes and requires restarting, the touchwiz interface is poor. Where the S7 really excels is the camera and SD card support. I am prepared to accept I have received a duff phone however the S7 Edge i had kept crashing when I used the camera, the SD card also kept causing the phone to crash and even after a hard reset and factory restore, the phone constantly redetected the card and formatted; this resulted in photos being lost one two occasions (i stopped using the card after the second time). At least my Note 4 was stable and managed the extra storage effectively and without problem.
Samsung have now lost me forever to Apple. I run two phones and have usually had something from Samsung and Apple, my experience is that the apple product, whilst not as technologically advanced is far superior. The phones are more stable and I find the user interface more intuitive and efficient to use. I also find the camera on the iPhone 6s to produce better quality photos than the S7 in terms of colour balance and noise in low light. Critically, the iPhone doesn't keep deleting my photos and crashing.
As I have said, I could have been unlucky but surfing the reviews online suggests I am not an isolated case. For anyone considering the S7 I would suggest you do your research before you take the plunge and don't listen to the overly keen sales staff who seem to be pushing the S7 above anything else.

I do photography with professional cameras, but still largely depend on my smartphone to take regular shots. From my opinion it's not totally correct that megapixels aren't big deal.Yes they aren't that big deal for Pro cameras, they allow you lens mounting. So while taking telephotos or head shot portraits you won't actually loose any detail, the lens zoom to see the object. But smartphone cameras crop on the image to zoom, and loose a significant amount of details. For this images get smudgy, noisy, and blurry on the edges with false banding. And since most of the images are taken in JPEG format, the childish "post processing" formula of smartphones make them look more like cartoon with over saturating the colors and insensible sharpening. So it becomes quite difficult to take photos of objects in a decent distance or good potraits( I am not telling you to expect pro like results from smartphone cameras, hence why would you sacrifice something good when you're paying such high price for a device). However you can take good landscape, sports and macro photos. It's true you don't really need those overkilling megapixels found in Lumia 1020 or 808 pureview. But, a megapixel count between 16-20 is well appreciated.HTC once tried this strategy- larger pixels lower resolution camera, but failed to establish it.Samsung had a sweet spot of 16MP till Note 5.But they have reduced it in S7 a little bit more than necessary. They could've kept that 16MP and still could've used this 1.7 sized amazing aperture and the dual pixel sensor. And could make S7 an invincible device, because the rest of the specs it has are perfect.Again I am saying probably that's not a big deal, but it could be better, isn't it?Hope they will realize this and will bring some changes in their next devices.

Just got mine today this afternoon. Got a chance to tinker with it for a couple of hours and I have just one word to describe the feeling - flabbergasted!!!
This phone is an absolute beauty in both form and function. Also, I'd suggest to those thinking of buying this, to go for the Silver Titanium one. You have to see it in the flesh to know how amazing the shade is!
