venom0706, 19 Jun 2018I actually checked and Oreo appeared for my S7E without any... more I petsonally would put my sim card in. Because after i downloaded oreo update it came up diff carriers and i had to tick my carrier which is vodafone. paygo. I would suggest you put your sim card in. Deff.

So after Oreo update my device runs very smooth no lags at all,applications load faster,camera is slightly better, overall performance is better and that includes battery life which has also improved by I would say 10 %.I got 5:50 screen-on time with moderate usage thats means YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp, Spotify no gaming though.One last thing, I set my screen resolution on FHD and wifi is always connected but no bluetooth or location activated.

I just bought a new LG G7 - an upgrade from my 1 and a half year old S7E.
The S7E is now in the drawer, I am going to use it as a backup phone. Right now, there is no sim card in it.
My question is, will the phone still get Oreo if there is no SIM card in it? The phone was bought sim free from Carphone Warehouse and can be perfectly used without any simcards (not locked to any carriers).
I am simply asking if Oreo will be available for ETA download, or that requires my simcard to be on and the phone to be connected to my carrier (Vodafone UK).

Ive been looking for edge lighting and just realized its in notification settings. How i missed that lol. But I Love edge lighting with diff colours . Battery so far still good

I received update on June 14, 2018 (1397.95 MB) in Pakistan.
I've noticed some great improvements as;
* Battery is improved and it lasts longer than previous version.
* Camera has been improved and some new features have been added.
* AOD is improved and aome new functions have been added, just tap on time clock and choose different styles etc.
* Screenshot has been improved and now you can capture a scroll screenshot which means you can capture the screenshot of the whole chat in a single picture.
* Phone is now very smooth and there's no lagging at all.
* There are a lot of other improvements too.
I think you all should install update because it has improved and makes the phone better.

I wonder why we didnt get 1st may security patch yet? Last one i got was 1st April. I thought maybe that would have been included in orep update.

Rapi, 17 Jun 2018Have u got the pink line or random reboots?No random reboots. I got a pink dot on my screen few months l after buying it. and i had to have it fixed at samsung centre. Luckly it is under warranty. And I havent had mine a yr yet . But my friends have s7 edge since it was released and had no pink line problems at all. And like ive said only readva few who suffered from that on thier phone. So i would say that most users didnt have that problem. Hope this helps.
