How is the battery life and overall performance after Oreo Update?Still no update here in Romania, Samsung is taking his time and I am very pissed!!

maxpain007, 15 Jun 2018what about battery performance ? cell standby and device idle ?The phone definitely works better, the battery is a bit better (at least for me) but I only use it for 6 hours.

Samsung have offered anyone having oreo problems to bring it into repair centre and they will revert it back to 7.0.

Eddy Pakistan, 15 Jun 2018Dont Update to Oreo. I have tried many regions Official 8.0... more thats why they have oreo on hold for s7 edge with the problems its causing. Some users say its fine on thiers. And some have problems. Its only on s7 edge phone. No other phones. Id rather stay on 7.0 until its all smoothed out and bug free.

Dont Update to Oreo. I have tried many regions Official 8.0 on my s7 edge they all have biggest problem of huge battery drain. Cell standby and device idle are two main contributors which are tooo way high always. I rolled back to XEU uk variant 7.0 official its flawless and much much better in terms of battery life.

Samsung told me all s7 edge are not getting oreo update until the problems is fixed. I told them some ppl got it. But they said its only s7 edge phone. So i wont be getting oreo yet for few months:(. But id rather wait until then to make sure its got no glinches. Battery draining , freezing and reboot problems.

I had to take my phone to samsung repair centre this morning about the high storage. So they flashed it and now the problem was fixed..
