I want to buy a s7 edge, but I'm worried abouth the pink line issue... should I buy it ?? Is pink line issue fixable??...please help me out guys.

The note 6 edge + was the best phone Samsung will ever make. The S7 with a downgraded 4-core processor (U.S. version) and downgraded 12mp camera, they managed to make the entire Note 7 line unusable because of their non-removable backs and overheating batteries. The S7 takes longer to set up, longer to reboot, and also comes with a wide variety of problems. Not to mention, the first locked bootloader of the entire Galaxy line.

AnonD-257122, 22 Mar 2018S7 is one of the best phones Samsung ever made.No doubt that S7 is one of the most comprehensive phone ever made. I don't think I'll change this phone this year before I returned to Note series. Even though I owned 1+5T, XZP and Pixel 2 XL, I still used S7 edge as my daily driver.

Hi All,
Those who are unhappy with the front cam on S7 edge, can try the Google Camera mod. This is really awesome. The front cam in this phone is actually good. But Samsung has set it to some stupid infinity focus, which is what makes the photos horrible!! Using google camera, you can see the true potential of this front camera. I am loving it.. :)
BTW, the mod works without root as well. Got it from XDA. Of course, there are some GUI bugs. But when you see the photo output, you will be very much happy to ignore these bugs..
Finally, I too have started taking selfies.. :)

Asides, the pink line issue which is 30/70 chance of happening, its a very good device and can last long as well. I don't even think of getting an s8 or s9 because it serves my daily purpose with no slow downs or lag. The only problem here just like the other guy mentioned, it's the horriblly cheap plastic screen protector and shitty case to protect it from damages. Lol

A Samaung representative has suggested a possible fix for the problem: Type *#0*# into the phone's dial pad, which will prompt you to adjust a number of settings. On that screen, press "red" "green" and "blue" to reset pixel colors. You may have to do this several times. It might not solve the problem. But you can try it if you wish. But im not sure if will really solve your problem as it could be your display that needs repaired. Good luck.
