But I do face this issue on my old galaxy note pro 12.2 from time to time. The google services create a wakelock which drains the battery rapidly. The solution that gave me the best results are as such. Go to settings -> Apps -> Google play services. Click that one and you will find some info about the storage and other stuff it has used. First, click force stop. Then click 'Clear cache'. After that, the wakelock would have most probably stopped. It keeps occuring after a week or two. But repeat this step and you should have no problems. Good luck!!

I have a year old S7E that worked flawlessly until recently. Since November, my battery started draining quite fast.
I went to battery usage and guess what - Google Services draining around 15% of my battery, more than Android and the screen combined together.
I dug the issue over the web and found it's quite common. Then followed every advice - removed permission of the app to make system changes, uninstalled it, installed latest updates, etc - nothing.
The only thing that fixes it temporarily is doing a sodt/hard reset of the phone. But then it usually comes back in 2-3 weeks and i don't want to constantly go through this, restore my settings, etc every couple of weeks.
So, any suggestions? I am really desperate.

I did what they did on those videos but the result is not the same. Do you get me now? If not, nevermind. Thanks for the reply btw. Yup, mine is not fake.

Why i do not get updates from November and December 2017 and January 2018 of my Galaxy S7 edge? my last update is october 2017 3 months not update.

I am using this mobile for almost 1 year and now my touch screen is giving problems. Mostly i notice that whenever i open whatsapp or scroll web page, the words are typed so fast automatically as if a ghost is typing or links get clicked when scrolling the page. My warranty is also expired and replacing the touch screen is almost the same price of buying a new mobile. So I am really disjointed with samsung because I never hardly used or dropped the mobile.

But my question is why others that I have watched on YouTube when setting their fingerprint scanner and trying it later, it only says on the screen "use fingerprint to unlock" when mine says "use fingerprint or swipe the screen to unlock". I have tried to do what they do, step by step by mine always like that.
