I don't know how 'brand new' your phone is but its worth also checking consumer law in the country where you live, if you have not already done so, just in case someone is fobbing you off. You may find that you have the right to demand a replacement or even a full refund but only if you act within a certain period of time after purchase (e.g UK 30 days under the Consumer Rights Act)

Some retailers will even go above and beyond beyond their requirements too E.g John Lewis UK (35 days) So worth checking out.

    Usually have been loyal to Samsung but they really screwed me over with the S8. Brand new phone with major audio issues. Constant disturbance on calls .As Samsung decided to shirk responsibility and said we will not replace but only repair. We took it to an authorised samsung service centre. They messed it up even more. Took it another time. While there still seems to be a sound problem the clarity is much better. But now there is a problem with the headphones. Left side is not working, whereas if I plug it into my laptop both sides are working. I have to again take it to the service centre. This is a brand new phone ! Yet Samsung refuses to replace the device. No more Samsung for me after this nightmare. They just dont care. - A disgruntled customer :-(

          Great phone. But since the Oreo update the anti-virus is not working and gets stuck at 0%...hope the new update will correct it.

              Harry, 26 Feb 2018Can u tell me please whts the battery backup of s8??if you turn of AOD, disable sinc, use wifi only it saves much more battery than using mobile data. i got 7hrs 24min 37sec screen on time once.
              or normally 4-5hrs of screen on time. if u r a heavy gamer you will probably get 3 to 3.30hrs screen on time.

                          Hi to those who are experiencing battery drain issue. You might wanna try this. IF YOUR NOT USING YOUR PHONE TURN IT OFF. Lets say when at work, sleeping or as long its not being use shut down your device and after few days your phones battery will be good as new.

                            After half year usage, the left side of the earphone has started to lose its sound.
                            (dimmer as it was before)

                            They should have said that okay we'll give you a 100 dollar earphone, but it will broke within a year.

                            What is this if not a planned obsolescence?

Bring their gimmick 0.2 seconds super slow motion, 3d creator but yet they don't fix their lowlight images quality. S8 has better camera than htc u11 but pixel 2 idk. So you should stop your sony fanboy attitude too

                                      Are you serious?! 1.4 Mm pixel size low resolution camera, 1.7 aperture, OIS, EIS... With all these specifications a non branded Chinese factory can achieve the Same performance, you want to know how it is supposed to be if it is well optimized, check the Google pixel 2 and HTC U11+. Have you ever watched YouTube camera comparisons? What features Samsung brought to camera tech? They barely copied half of the super slow tech of Sony, just drop this fanboism and talk straight please.

Does other brands could have a great camera like samsung? other brands needs a time but the time they achieve, samsung got it into the new whole level. What kind of tech that samsung needs to catch up? That audio quality is not much high techs, samsung could be same level as quad dac on LG and dsee HX from sony. Are your hobby is to show despises to Samsung? that's a bad idea, though.
