Btw, I have Samsung Galaxy Young too, I don't use it, but it's working to this day. That just proves the quality of Samsung phones. Like the people you still see using their S3 in 2018.

no name, 25 Jan 2018How's ur guys experience with ur S8?Would you reccommend it... moreLook, I have the S8 for months now, never a single issue, battery life is really good, performance is awesome, and screen is the best. You can wait for the S9, but its design is a bit different, and good about S9 are stereo speakers (even tho, I don't use speakers almoust at all, and most of people are the same) and also the S9 will have better camera and improved camera software. And finally somewhat more powerful chipset.
So the S9 will be an upgrade, but the S8 is much better buy (because of the price drop) and if you don't care about having the latest flagship, go with the S8. I have the S8 for a long time now, and I'll skip the S9. Maybe I'll even skip whatever comes after the S9.

I'd rather wait for it to be tested out as much as possible first, rather than rush it out just so that I can say "Oh look I have Oreo before you, nah nah nah nah nah" like an immature child.

I really love this phone...been wanting it for some time. I had a LG G5 just before...so it's quite a "step up".
There's one thing I prefered on my older phones, and it's on how the phone software manages the documents.
I use Excel and PDF for certain files. In older phones you only have to open directly from the file location (ex. Files / SD Card / PDF / *document*) and the file would appear right then and there.
I found in my S8 that, probably with Office software, you have to set up pathways in the software. In other words, when using the same path from the drive, the file does not open directly...instead it opens the software (ex. Excel) and then thru it you must chose your pathway again...
Other than that I'm very happy with it.
I would like to know though if there's a way to optimize the battery life with the right charging method, if there is one... We hear many opinions like keeping the battery pourcentage between 20% and 80%... Not leave the phone on charge during a whole night...
What is the best way?? Lol

S8 User, 11 Jan 2018SnapDragon has Meltdown and Spectre software flaws. That's ... moreDepends if Exynos is based on A72/73 ARM Cortex then it is also prone to Meltdown/Spectre.
It's not the brand but the Architecture it's based on. That's why ARM should rethink about making a new CPU Architecture without Meltdown/Spectre Hardware exploit, maybe in A8x Cortex.

I had s7 and sold it after 4months usage ....i bought s8 and it is better in terms of battery efficiency😊

What about its Battery? Am a Samsung Fan myself but their Battery is something you should worry about.

Great phone overall, but needs some better optimization.
The battery might be 3000mAh, but at times it feels like 2500mAh.
The screen is amazing, but the resolution is annoying, especially when it zooms into your video's because they don't support the same resolution (all YouTube videos).
The camera, on the other hand, is one of the best cameras on the mobile market, I would personally say it is second to the Pixel, and the Pixel has the best camera.
Some changes Samsung should have was with battery optimization and the choice of NOT using Bixby and being able to change the function of the Bixby button. Extra 2gb of ram would not hurt, as well as using one CPU/GPU universally rather than having two different ones depending on the region.
Overall this is a great phone, 8.5/10.

How's ur guys experience with ur S8?Would you reccommend it to someone to buy?How's gaming perfomance?Well as we all know S9 isnt far but its leaks about design is worst (I'm sorry)I mean if it will have dingerprint location under camera and has circle camera shape it will look ugly,What do you guya think about it?...Btw Love Samsung,Writing it on Iphone 5 and I'm kinda bored with it thinking for switch to Samsung but I have to do see some experience of you guys with ur S8...Thank you

Ali, 24 Jan 2018No oreo update till date all brands give it. So bad samsung... moreyeah enjoy your Oreo with tons of bugs while I waited little bit more beta for testing bugs are done and full stable Oreo is coming :)

niall, 23 Jan 2018s8 or iphone 6s plus?You are comparing a relatively new and ultra modern phone with an out dated model. Your real criteria should be whether you prefer Android or IOS. Once you have decided that then your choice will be made for you. By the way both phones are very good, just that one is newer than the other.

I keep my display settings on "Adaptive" display so it is constantly changing according to conditions at the time. I must confess though that I do not mind deep colours as long as they do not appear artificial.
