Night time usage discharges approx. 30% in 7 hours whilst daytime usage (very light use) discharges at less than 1% per hour. Very strange and I can assure you that nobody else uses it at night as I have right next to me as I sleep. Also as I advised earlier I have switched off the "always on" display. It's really quite weird and I may pay a visit to the retailer (Telstra in Australia) to check it out.

i am buy a new samsung galaxy S8 from germany. but this phone use in asia ( Bangladesh ). some people says, Europe based phone can not work properly. it is ture? please confirm samsung authorized person or samsung S8 usures...

Andy, 02 Oct 2017It is not stuttering, but on the contrary it is too fast. O... morejust backup ur files and give a reset/format ur device. some times many android phns tend to be glitchy after some updates becoz many temp. files present in the device. benifit of reseting is they just boot up again properly and start working as they should be.

I have now had my s8 for just over a week and have a strange problem. When I charge my phone before going to bed I notice that by morning the battery will have dropped by 30% or more and yet it is not being used. I make sure that I have closed al my apps beforehand yet there seems to be a huge power drop over night. Power usage during daylight hours seems to be only about 1% per hour which is fine.
Any suggestions anyone? By the way I have also turned off the screen always on feature.

AnonD-260677, 01 Oct 2017do u feel glitchy ? like stutering when scrolling ?It is not stuttering, but on the contrary it is too fast. Only in portrait mode, landscape mode is ok and slow enough.
