Go into Bixby Voice settings and then go to the voice wake-up section. Then enable use when phone speaker is playing

Unlike the voice to text on The original Galaxy S7 the voice to text on the Galaxy S8 is absolutely awful I cannot speak too quickly because it will completely mis read what I'm saying and if I speak to slowly it will do the same I have to basically sound like a robot in order to talk to text On an effective manner please fix this I cannot stand it I loved the voice to text on the original Galaxy S7 but the one on and the new Galaxy S8 is like I said completely awful and completely useless unless I want to sound like a robot in front of everyone

Unless I have misunderstood you, you wont be buying a phone for several months, so this gives you an excellent opportunity to use that time to check both out in person first if size is an issue for you.

It's a personnel choice and what one person thinks is comfortable another may say the opposite.
I love the feel and look of the S8 Plus, but does that tell you anything other than I live the look and feel of the S8 Plus?
With phones costing so much to buy these days the best thing to do is to try before you buy if you can.

Hi guys! So i was planning to buy S7 After 5-6 months or might be more,So i was thinking like will S7 be worth at that time?Will it be good to buy after 5-6 months? Or should I buy S8?i dont use big screen smartphone that's bad :-( is S8's screen is that big? Like I can use my dad's S6 edge easily,Is S8 is that big.Im asking because most people says it has a very big screen...also i love some of S8 function like Bixby and many more...which should i buy S7 or S8? Ashu..., 20 Aug 2017There are nothing extra resion to buy s8, becouse in mobi... moreThough I have never heard of that particular model M64, for our conversation's sake, I am thinking that you are absolutely right, moto m64 has the same hardware as S8, so considering that, S8 is waste of money.
BUT
Have you considered that Moto has Vanilla Android where S8 has home grown Android? Samsung can do a handful of tricks which Moto cannot?
For example, if someone calls you and you decline, S8 will remind you in 10 mins about that call and will keep reminding you until you cancel it or call that person. I can bet your Moto m64 can't do that.
Again, S8 has IP ratings of 68 whereas Moto has no IP ratings. That means, your Moto will not survive a dip in the rain whereas S8 will happily dive under water for you.
Then, with S8's dual camera mode, you can take pictures with both the front and rear cameras at the same time. Wanna bet that Moto won't do that? Again, we should not forget that Samsung has one of the best (if not the best) phone cameras in the world right now.
Should I continue? Well, here goes -
S8 has BT5.0 that can throw sound from one application to the speaker while sound from another app to the headphone. Use of it? Well, I always listen to music. But sometimes my son wants to play games as well. I can put him in the phone speaker while running the music player on the background to my BT speaker in the other room. Got it?
S8 has wireless charging, DeX capabilities (those who never used one will not understand) and the list goes on.
So, dear, the value of a phone is not about the hardware, but it's software and the brand value as well. I can guarantee you that the cost of making this phone was not more than 300USD. But they have R&D, Marketing and other departments who make amazing things happen in Samsung (for example, I used to have multiple screens in my Note4 when Android couldn't do that natively, curved screen always make my S8 a center of attention). Don't, please don't compare Motorola, Oppo, Xiaomi with Apple, Samsung, Sony. I know, now you will say that Motorola first build the mobile phones. YES, I know. That is why they are still in the market. But in this competitive flagship markets, for the last few years, Motorola couldn't show any magic (Moto friends are not some magic to me as you have to purchase them separately).
Anyway, hope you will get to your senses. I would even consider if you would compare S8 with the upcoming iPhone 8. That would truly make sense. Well, iPhone will cost you a kidney, for the same reason. Never compare a Mercedese with a Tata Nano, ok? be smart.

I use AOD on the edge, Wifi / Mobile Data for 24/7, Bluetooth connected to my smart watch, GPS on during my bike rides (+/- 20km per day), endo & Samsung Health running alternatively, e-mails manual sync, take fair amount of pictures everyday, watch movies and TV series in my S8 and after doing all these under network (NOT in airplane mode) I get around 5hrs (5hr 3min yesterday) SOT.
I go to the office and my phone is active alongside. I start charging it at around 3pm, it goes around 10%, recharges before I start for home. After going home there is either party or my son (or me, lol) plays games in my phone, we watch cartoons and movies and TV series. By the time it's time for bed, it goes around 30%. I charge it and unplug it before going to bed.
Now you decide whether this phone is a heavyweight lifter or not. But to be honest, if you compare it with S7e, you'll be disappointed with the battery performance. But stand alone, this is a great runner.

Battery , ram nd phone memory nd camara , thats enough, nd u can get all dis feature more in motorola m 64 mobile( price within 14500),more than s8, so y we west 65000 ....thats it....nd i m using moto m64 , nd i m very satisfied...
