I wonder if I started a petition to KEEP the finger print scanner in its current position, how many people would sign it? They could always place one under the screw too!
It's really easy when you are using a case and can even unlock the phone whilst taking your phone from your pocket, super fast.
Another way to impress your friends is to use a folio case and say to your friends you possess 'magic power's and watch their faces as you unlock the phone whilst opening up the case!! ...... incredible and people will be buying you drinks (non alcoholic if under 18 (uk ) all night long. I'm a kind of celebrity in my home town, and people come from miles away to see me perform my magic!!! Its quite stressful at times though, so I won't encourage it as sometimes I just want to walk down the high street without being mobbed by screaming members of the opposite sex.
I will be auditioning for next years Britain's Got Talent, watch out for me ok.

What chipset is in your s8? Mine is Exynos and i charge it once a day after around 15 hours of heavy usage.Before s8 i had Sony z5 compact,and the battery was about the same.

Start with the... moreYou do have a point regarding Bixby! It was hyped up and even have a dedicated button for it that I have accidently pressed many times. Just bizarre that Samsung would do this and not allow me to allocate that button to do another function without 3rd party app is beyond belief considering that Bixby is still in Beta phase.
I didn't buy a my phone to take part in a Beta, it's lazy stuff.... and a bit greedy tbh in my opinion ....... "ahhh let's just release the S8 and S8 Plus NOW, we can always sort out Bixby later" thinking.
I love my phone but that doesn't mean I will defend to Samsung regardless.

I've had it a month and.... underwhelmed.
Start with the positives: It's seemingly; waterproof, durable, speedy (processor), good graphics, good display, GPS is pretty accurate, all my apps run without issue.
... pretty solid phone.
On the negative: Bigby, Bexby whatever it's called... I don't want a Samsung account so am stuck with a useless button. Curved screen... gimmick.
Conclusion: A solid phone but lacks geatures that I truly find useful. Trying to do the proprietry thing that I original avoided Apple for. Ultimately... not worth the pricetag.

It's best phone with no doubt.
But if you are a photography freak and you are portrait lover just wait for Note 8 release.
Because it doesn't have dual camera only.
But it's camera is excellent though.

Even I am sailing in the same boat. I also have iPhone 7 Plus. But since last one week not getting the courage to buy S8 or S8 Plus because I am confused. But I might go for S8 because of two reasons: I want a smaller phone and it is not that small also; second is the price factor. Every phone price drops and no use buying an S8 Plus which is as costly as iPhone 7 Plus.

I'm curious: does anyone have a s8 and when he dropped it, the screen did not cracked? I think this is biggest problem with S8. I want to see if there are people who have not cracked the screen yet.

Anonymous, 03 Jul 2017I will post this just to get you started - Qualcomm says th... morei think u r the one that obnoxious , naive and s...... lolllllll , bro u know how to calculate or not ... s7 edge has 3600 mah compare to 3000 mah which is 600mah more... 600/3000 mah = 20% more ..... sometimes you can not believe 100% snapdragon says .... sometimes it is just for marketing purpose.... the actual consumption is different..... for your info phone battery is not only consume by only the chipset processor snapdragon 835, others also consume ... others i means is no. of ram, amount of pixel denstiy PPI , screen size, how many time u touch the screen ( also need energy to detect your hand capacitive charge)...and the most important is backlight brightnesss... the higher brigthness more energy power need to increase the backlight to make it brighther n brighter .... alll those count and also dont forget the special s.... feature called AOD always on display that also consume battery not sure how many % per hour...

Also might be worth noting, the S8 Plus is closer to the size of the phone that you are using at the moment, although someone has dismissed the additional time you will get with going for the S8 Plus as negliable, I would still encourage you to consider everything when weighing up the pros and cons, cost, screen, size ..... anything.
As I always do, I encourage you to pop into a shop if you can, handle both phones first.
Once your mind is made up, then that's it! ........ No more going back!!

Im t... mores8 plus would surely b a problem if ur hands r not that much big. also it will b difficult 4 u to get to the fingerprint reader at most times so if u got a big hand s8 plus would b gud
but personally it would a s8
