I bought this phone last month even after using the iPhone 6S...To be very true the Galaxy S8 is a very good looking device with some great features. But there are some issues which I am facing when using it. First of all most of the games are not able to run on this device for example Asphalt 8, Highway Rider and many more. It may be some software issue. The device took a lot of time when contact list opens. Also It frustrates me during multi tasking, it was getting slow down. I was not expecting this. One of my friend is using Galaxy S7 edge. I used it for 2 days and the results were awesome. Now I would like to say that S8 is still lacking to hit WOW factor when compared with other devices. Still I have to say that iPhone is best....No doubt. Samsung needs to work more to beat Apple.

The S7 (either variant) is multiple times better than z5...good luck with the s8.. I hope it's a beast!!

Anonymous, 02 Jun 2017Does anyone regret not choosing the S8 Plus? I thank yo... moreI moved from the Sony Xperia Z5 this week to the S8+ and i can only give good praise for this product. Samsungs some along way over the past few years. I can't compare it to the S5-6 or 7 but the S8 feels great. Its also the first phone ive ever owned where i actually feel like watching videos on. the playback quality is amazing and the camera does wonders for me. No regrets here...

Anonymous, 02 Jun 2017Does anyone regret not choosing the S8 Plus? I thank yo... moreNo, S8 is compact, easy to hold and use and lightweight, easily fits in pocket. S8 is in smartphone category while S8+ is a phablet and everyone doesn't prefer a phablet. So I'm happy with my S8 - the compact version.

Not worth moving from s7/edge to s8 rly... S7 chipset will run all smooth for at least 1.5 years... cameras are pretty much same ... design simillar (screen is biggest difference but not too big) bixby button isnt that usefull so not worth selling S7 edge for 400 and getting this for 800 ... its just pointless to pay 400 more for almost same phone and alongside s7 is more stable than this self restarter and with better battery life... if you have other brand or older model its ok this is good phone with some bugs untill update but its ok but from s7 to this is BIG NO NO

Samsung's new flagship! In rerms of design it is wow. The display is probably the best. 100 per cent DCI-P3 color gamut. The display sounds the best. Camera is stiil fantasti c but I was expecting dual cameras. I think s7 edge is still better for me. I will still use tge s7 edge

Anonymous, 02 Jun 2017Well S5/Note 4 got an easily replaceable removable battery ... moreI agree, which is why we bought the S5 in Australia - admittedly did look at the S8 but too long and thin, but no matter how you want to look at the device, the value is just not there.
I would have little hesitation to buy notes for our business provided the battery could be replaced, the glass was not curved, and the screen aspect ratio was not the skinny version of the S8.

Just pop out the back case, remove the battery/throw it, put in the new one, pop in the back case, turn on the phone. Voila!!!

Hey Samsung, stop copying Apple. Increase the battery some more (4000mAh or higher), bring back the ir blaster, and FM radio to your flagships. Only Apple's iphone can get away with removal of those features because a sleek and classy slim appearance and brand name is Apple's ONLY unique selling feature. No Android phone can take it away from them,so you should stop copying Apple's no headphone jacks, no sd card, no IR blaster and other seemingly unimportant/niche features like FM radio, etc. You've got to have your own unique selling proposition and copying Apple's 'external appearance and prestige'-first marketing will not work for any Android phone. It has to be backed up by features not found on Apple and also not found on other Android phones in the same price bracket.
