Can somebody shed light on everyday usage of this phone,,,like battery life,, speed,, battery life with 3g/4g data always on.,,build quality.
I think this is a user opinion section (about the phone)..

AnonD-39079, 30 Apr 2017Dear Demetri, did you even read what you wrote? I don't thi... moreI agree. I have held the s8 in my own hands and its easily one of the phones with the best in-hand feel to it. No sharp edges and very smooth to the palm. I can tell you that that guy is most likely lying, unless if he has reaaaally big hands. The edges of the screen are also now built in a way that doesnt directly touch tour palm.

Unbiased, 29 Apr 2017Before Commenting here, please assume most of the users who... moreJust remembered another example for you, my friend.
When I was young, my dad bought a VCR with remote control. Now, that was in the 80's. At that time, the controller needed to be connected with a 25ft long cable with the VCR. The benefit was that you could control it from a distance.
In late 90's I started seeing pure remote controls with IR control. These controllers didn't have any wires. I guess you don't know how they work. The remote sends signal via IR to the sensor, which is connected in the device with wire.
So, by your definition, we shouldn't call them wireless remotes as the wire connects the sensors in the device, right? Really? (Surprised emo here)
Well, a wireless charger works the same way. The charger is connected through the wire while the phone gets thw benefit of being wireless. If that's not called wireless, what is? Are you sure you haven't been drinking lately? I think you're drunk and can't think straight. Please, please, please, I urge you to read your comments before hitting the "submit" button. You guys are getting so jealous of S8 and S8+ that you're commenting gibberish and none of them are making any sense to me.
I'm requesting you once again, please, do some research and your constructive criticisms are most welcome. Please wake up, grow up and smile as much as you can. Cause I'm fed up with your jealousy. Ciao...

Demetri, 28 Apr 2017I bought this phone and i have to say I regret buying it, h... moreDear Demetri, did you even read what you wrote? I don't think so. How lame is it? If S8 is so lame to hold on, why did you buy it in the first place? Now, now, now, don't tell me you didn't get a chance to hold it before you buy it. That's a lie my friend. Even a country like Bangladesh has demo units available. By your name I guess you are from Russia or countries beside Russia. That makes me believe that you never bought this device, just here to put S8 down. I did a video on how a person just in front of me held the S8 in her hand and fell in love with it and did the pre-booking. I did the same. Even die-hard iFans are saying "if there is one thing great about the S8 & S8+, this is the feel on your hand". So please, get your lines straight before you even start lieing. LOL.
Those of you who are looking forward to buy this phone, just go and check in your nearest shops. Have some time with it. Nobody will tell you anything if you spend 10-15 minutes with it. I spent around an hour before I decided to go for the pre-booking. My phone is hopefully coming on 8th May and then I'll be able to tell you hands on reviews. Till then, stay away from these trolls.
And, btw, my reviews will be 100% genuine. I have already talked about the fingerprint scanner and the recent restart problem. If I were a die-hard Samsung fan, I wouldn't point out those problems. So you can have faith on me that I will give you true details on it.
            Ciao...

AnonD-605566, 29 Apr 2017Do you really think everything is in the wireless charging?... moreOK, for a while let's consider you are right and wise, I am wrong and stupid. We believe that Wireless-charging is a gimmick and we don't need it.
              Now please tell me these:
              1. How fast-charging stands here? Is it a gimmick? Do we need it?
              2. Why do we need a bluetooth v 4.2 if we can't share a file? Just to connect to a headset?
              3. Why do we don't need a headphone jack, can you please explain again?
              4. The best stylus is our finger and the best size is 3.5" as it reaches every corner, right? So, why does iPhones have bigger screens now?
              5. A human eye can only measure 300 PPI, right? Please explain. Then why there are 64K color variants?
              6. Why do you think everything is a gimmick until and unless iPhones have it?
No, seriously. I am stupid, very stupid. But I want to become an iD-iOt. So please, enlighten me. I will be waiting for your reply on those very subjects, point by point. If you can't reply, well I don't believe you can, next time, please shut your mouth and tell Apple to take back their money that they gave you as you have failed to put Androids down. If you can't prove me wrong in at least five points, put your mouth shut, please, as you have lost the truth and dare.
              Yours truly
Android lover (iOS disliker, but iD-iOts hater)

Unbiased, 29 Apr 2017Before Commenting here, please assume most of the users who... moreDear Mr. (Un)biased, your words don't fit with your claim, so please change it.
I can see at the beginning you started with naming Samsung as a shiny stone while claiming iPhone as Diamond. That's very much BIASED. Again, you screamed like a baby about wireless-charging and why-we-don't-need-it $h!t. For your info, the iPhone 8 IS 90% confirmed to have a glass back to have the built-in option for wireless-charging. I am waiting for you now to say that you DON'T need wireless-charging, one more time, just one more time, oh, pretty please. See, that's NOT unbiased. The moment iPhone removed the headphone jack and others still have it, I heard iD-iOts started screaming about how headphone jacks don't matter and how they are so old and blah blah blah. But before that their claim was on THAT VERY headphone jack and the BEST HEADPHONES that Apple provided with the device. WOW! Bunch of hypocrites.
Last night I was watching Flossy Carter's "S8 Real Review" in YouTube. If you don't know this channel, go and search for it, everyone should love this guy. He never takes bribe from any companies and he buys the retail phones with his own money (and before you ask, he is very rich, that's how he manages to buy all the devices) and finally gives a L-O-N-G review of the device(s). Last night he reviewed S8 & S8+. His "things I don't like" list was long, so was his "things I like" list.
Back to the original story. His brother is iFan. at one point Floss showed him the Iris scanner in the S8, he was amazed, but didn't wanna lose to Floss and said, "Does it work in the dark?" So they moved in the pitch black trunk of the car and tried it and BOOM, it worked! His brother was speechless. Finally what he said was, "Well, it's a gimmick, nobody needs an Iris scanner." I can find similarities with our friend Mr. (Un)biased here.
Again, when Apple launched Siri, everyone said it was a gimmick and nobody needs it. But then look around now. Even Samsung is trying to work themselves in the game with Bixby. What will happen to Bixby, only time will tell. But I'm curious to find out what our iFriends out there say when iPhone 8 (or whatever the name will be) will have the wireless-charging on board. I know, I know, till iPhone gets it, it's always a gimmick. Silly me! Phbfhbfhfhff.
And if Smartphones were all about just basic needs, then they wouldn't be called "SMARTPHONES", or would they? I guess the word smartphone is a gimmick as well as iPhones never could became one yet, truly. Just like curved screens are gimmicks now as Apple seriously failed to do so in the upcoming iPhone, and the fingerprint scanner inside the screen is a gimmick as iPhone isn't gonna have it while Note 8 will have it, thanks to Synaptics. And before you ask, Apple has a great (NOT) relation with companies like Synaptics, so they won't build them what they want, LOL. That friendly (?!?) attitude from Apple and it's fans, so popular. But if they somehow manage to put the fingerprint scanner inside the screen by themselves, that would be like "Apple did it first again, they have yet set a trend, yay!" WOW! But guess what, Note 8 will launch before iPhone whatever.
iPhones have NFC, but it's use is limited, has bluetooth option, but for connecting a headset only, you can't share files over bluetooth. For that you don't need more than BT v1.2, do you? You can't connect your iPhone with a PC (or Mac) which doesn't have iTunes installed and use it as a thumb-drive (pen-drive). Dude, it's 2017 already, NOT the year 2000. And again, your home Mac, your office Mac and your phone will have the same number of same songs in each devices in the name of Sync. You can't choose which to sync. And the list goes on and on. So please, think of your own problems before criticizing others. There is a proverb, "Grapes are sour". If you don't know the moral of the story, well, my bad. If you were so intelligent, you wouldn't be what you are, right? My bad. Sorry, my bad!
And if someone says anything, I mean ANYTHING better than iPhone, they keep on going, "You are paid to say so". Well, it proves that they also know iPhones has nothing better inside, just the shell, but yet it sells. How they sell it? By paying people to say good about iPhones. And that's how they think everything works, pays to talk. Well, I don't feel like correcting you guys anymore. You are worthless, beyond my speeches.
You know something? As Apple says, I should say it in my own words, "You wanted to be iD-iOts, you just don't know it yet".
                Smart ones, take care. Ciao...

Guys, have you heard anything about restarting S8 & S8+? Just heard (& read) about it and I'm curious to know more about it.
Trolls, stay away. This phone is bad, this phone is ugly yabadiyabadi blah blah blah. Before you even start, I have seen my iFriends (friends who are die-hard apple fan) selling their iPhones and buy new phones as their iPhones had the same restarting problems (or was boring after a while). So please, stay out.
Now, back to the point. Is it possible that this problem in the S8 And/or S8+ is caused by the new updates? Or is it something about the qualcomm? Are Exynos having the same problems? What's your opinions?
                  Take care. Ciao...

Save your Budget preventing from Buying similar version.
are you sure Bigger Screen is comfortable?, I don't think so.., you will hard use your phone on One Handed, ppi pixel density will decrease every phone with more inches, which is decrease a sharpness graphic on the display, and more heavy. This S8 is my suggestion if you want to Buy it.
5.8 inches I think it's large screen, even Samsung increase the resolution to WQHD+/QHD+ (1440x2960) for S8+, S8 will be the best resolution if you compare it to the S8+.

                          S8 is for Welcome.
Samsung will fixed perfectly for the design on the next year Galaxy Unpacked 2018 especially Fingerprint location which is on worldTech for now still on discussed about uncomfortable to touch it especially for S8+, they will do, and fix it on Galaxy S9, so Galaxy S8 is welcome new series first of new Infinity Display, and design of course
just like S6 edge is the first phone for samsung with dual edge screen, and they perfect it more smooth edges screen, and edge feature on the next Galaxy S7 edge, until now, S8|S8+ is similar Narrow dual edge screen from the Galaxy S7 edge

Anonymous, 28 Apr 2017What about those who used to say that Sony is overpricedYou're Right, the most overprice things is iPhone than other phone until now, I still don't know what a special software or unique feature on iPhone, I think from the design is similar from past...
how about S8 | S8+?, when you see it they're was high step ahead from iPhone for now, there is so much many features that still not has on the iPhone
about the price, iPhone 7 plus is still more expensive than the S8, and it will be out of mind of price if iPhone 8 come out about September 2017

I do not understand how a knowledgeable person can compare a samsung phone with an iphone, It's like comparing Diamond with a price of shiny stone(Samsung).
What matters most for an end user is a lag free user interface, not a highly customized one like samsung.
Further what is the use of wireless charging if you need a long wire to connect, it should be named as "usb-less" charging.
Infact these are not at all comfortable and safe, basically a More hyped less technical innovation by samsung.
Instead samsung should focus more on overall internal software optimization, rather than increasing RAM and curved displays etc.
Its the phone only, which keeps in mind the basic needs and requirement and keeps away the unnecessary things.

Samsung time going behind us, liked it or not.

And yes, with what the iPhone is equipped right now, it rules. With only as half as this samsung has memory, iPhone works much smoother.
Imagine if iPhone had all the features. Not that they can't add, but 'iris scanner' is nonsense, wireless charger is not wireless at all etc etc... So, for what you paying in the end? For the phone which becomes to lag after an year.
