Immediately after the unveiling of S8 I compared the specs with that of Sony XZ Premium. Specwise S8 is smaller than XZ Premium. Other than that I don't see anything that XZ Premium does not have (Dex is not interesting to me at all). Rather XZ Premium seems better with 960 fps slow-mo capture. I guess the big bezels are the only thing that will prevent XZ premium from being a hit, while S8 will become most popular of 2017 (barring Note8, I suppose).

I'll be going with the Sony XZ Premium. I was looking forward to some real game changing tech, nothing in this that gets me excited and its more expensive!!!.. Reviews on the Sony look really good and remote play looks great !

whidout IR blaster for home devices it is pretty low tec when it comes to controlling your home devices.

I'm disappointed that it's a bigger phone than S7. Bixby does not excite me. If I don't find enough useful features, I might buy S7 - the same I just sold (to buy S8). A phone will 'never' be as good as TV/PC monitor, so why trying? S8 should have been the same size as S7 (142mm) and S8+ could stay as it is now - for gamers!

Is there any real difference between sd 835 or sd 821 in real life usage ? Absolutely not! Is there any difference between bettery life between 3000mah on sd821 or sd 835 on a 2 same phones ? Absolutely nothing ? And now we have 6.2 inches which makes the same battery life experience as the s7 or s6. Removable battery system (rip). Fm radio also (rip) 256GB(rip) untill 2020. 5 inches screen(rip) and samsung will never care about people have the interest of small screen phones.so what's new ? Bixby ? No it's almost a bloatware to the majority of users. So what we have seen this year of boring tech companies ? Nothing ? Yes nothing .

S8 is more phablet less phone .
Its spec same as s7
No FM radio .
Samsung this phone is not a year flagship .its just another member of Edge sereis
I am S6 edge user .
I find nothing special in s8 .
