I have customers that doesn t buy Samsung because they don t have smaller high end smartphones , and now Samsung is gona give up to people who want medium size . Even Apple who made only 2 phones per year has 1 decent size smartphone phone and 1 bigger .Samsung probably made 30-50 models per year and can t done 1 decent size smartphone ?

in plus an ugly design and larger phone like a door
i hope that samsung get the same what happened with nokia,fast down.

If this is how the s8 looks like i'll buy the A5 or s7 instead.
I buy phones based on battery and looks. Having no front button is just ugly.

I know phones with 5,7 smaller than 5,5 ( but 5,5 inch is still huge watch S7 edge ) but 5,8 with 5,1 is imposible .
They really don t know that a lot of people choose Samsung over after android brand because of the home button ? That home button is very usefull

Ugly design and almost same specs. Samsung should optimise their TouchWiz UI at least.

S-series 7 inch , S plus 8 inch and note ser... moreBy eliminating the bezels, the actual form factor of the phone is exactly the same as the S7 last year while significantly increasing the size of the screen. The phone didn't get any bigger. My complaint is that (if the leaked specs are true) Samsung is half-assing the specs of the phone. Xiaomi already came out with a similar phone late last year. We'll see if the idea of the screen consuming the entire front of the phone takes off or not. It would at least be nice of they retained the physical home button by sticking it on the back of the phone.

Is Samsung seriously going to go with the same 4GB RAM they did a year ago? That's just stupid. Can't do better than a measly 128GB internal? ASUS, Huawei, Xiaomi and countless others are already doing far better than that in both categories without sacrificing the SD card slot. ASUS offered a 6GB RAM, 256GB internal + SD card slot premium phone LAST YEAR. 3000 mAh battery? Again, countless other OEM's are doing better in the same form factor phone. With all the new features, bells and whistles draining the battery, you need to get closer to 4000 mAh to remain competitive -- that or figure out some amazing battery use optimization software. If other OEM's are able to pack far better specs into the same size phone as Samsung, then it ends up making them look awfully foolish. Then need to do better. Half-assing the new line of galaxies will not help to erase the stink of the Note 7. Go big or go home Samsung!

Latest adr... moreIs not just about the specs , it is about the giant size and no more home button . Why they turn s-series into Note series ? What is the point in having note series and s-series if they will have the same size ? There are customers that want to buy higher specs and big size for there samsung have the note series , cutomers who want smaller size ( Samsung have only low end models ) and medium size ( they had s series with high end specs , but if this will be true , a lot of customers will choose another brand with decent size ) .
Second a lot of customers choose Samsung because is the only android smartphone with home button ( button that is very usefull ) . That is the downfall of Samsung .
