If Samsung will use the buttons on the screen instead of the ones at the bottom there's nothing special about Samsung galaxy phones anymore now that many brands will start to use amoled display. And I want removable battery!, I hope this time LG make a great g6 with removable battery and ergonomic shape.

I hope this is not true . Samsung had s series adressing people who want medium size smartphone with high end specs . I don t understand why make s series that big , they allready have note series for people who want bigger screens .
I selled cellphones and smartphone for years and there are customers and customers .The Note series and big phones like that more 90% of person who buy are big men with big hands , Samsung s series i selled the most , and i have a lot of customers who buy sony z compact series because they want smaller size and top specs. Samsung doesn t have somethink like that and ever more now they will get a downfall because of this huge phones .

Did anyone watch the latest video from Samsung Display youtube channel? They unveiled something about S8 there. The Amoled screen is now optimized for the color blind.

Everyone stuck at 12mp, why can't 33 mp cam .. Nokia 1020 having 41 mp cam.. why samsung not making high pixel cams.

But you can t say that if you made a phone with 5.7 inch will have the same size as s7 or s6 . I saw the s7 edge and is huge ,i will not use that phone even if someone will pay me to use it . Samsung should think before they will make that big mistake , not only people with big hands buy high end smartphones .
Whatever u say you can t make a smartphone with that kind of screen and that phone to be medium size , you can t

Desgin - Good , edge screen -looks good, maximum screen new design- Looks great
Corning Gorilla Glass 5 back panel- Good
IP68 certified - dust proof and water resistant over 1.5 meter and 30 minutes- Good
Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors- good
Screen size-5.7 inches - Good but many of them like 5~ 5.1 inch so consider them
Resolution-1440 x 2560 pixels (~515 ppi pixel density)- very good
Always-on display- Good
Android OS, v7.0- Good
chip-Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 - very good
cpu-Octa-core (4x2.45 GHz Kryo & 4x1.9 GHz Kryo)-very good
GPU-Adreno 540- very good
LTE- Snapdragon X16 ?
Memory-64/128 GB, 6/8 GB RAM- Very good , we expect latest UFS
Rear camera- 12 MP, phase detection autofocus, OIS, dual-LED (dual tone) flash -Need improvement than S7 edge- Expect 13 or 16MP with aparture 1.7 (big lense)
Front camera- 8 MP - Good we expect auto focus
stereo speakers- Good , expect high volume and quality
Bluetooth - v4.2, A2DP, LE, aptX- no we expect v5
USB- v3.1, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector- Good
Iris scanner- Very good
Fingerprint sensor- Rear position is huge disappoint specially if we use CASE, so we expect sensor in front screen (front mounted) under glass.
Remove touch screen- Ok
Samsung Desktop Experience support- good -I am expecting from long time
We expect more port multimedia Dock stations from Samsung.
Quick charge- 4 ?
Battery -3000 mah- average - We expect 2 days battery 3500 mah or 4000 mah should be fine.
Samsung build quality is good compare other models specially radiation level is low. People like me my body is very sensitive so only few models I can put it in my pocket because of radiation so I expect Samsung S8 , they will consider to reduce radiation level maximum they can.Heating problem is low in Samsung (expecting the same or reduce heat maximum in S8 ). Note 7 was big disappointment , I guess they don't do same mistake again.
Samsung- please consider these point.

Good days when Samsung released 5'2 and 5'5 inch phones.This is just a giant.Or Samsung will release a "mini" version of this with 5'2 inch screen with like SD 653 and lower price.The S8 PLus is like 6'2 inch wtf ? It's like they are aiming for Aliens hands or Netherlands/Balkan only.
Either that or Asians and Americans are now over 6'0 feet tall lmao.
Or the size will be the same as a 5'5 S7 but it has no bezzels.Like the Xiaomi mix that has like a big screen but not big dimensions.

Even "the best of the best" do not have IR port and only 12 Megapixeles camera???
Really??? I well skip it too!!! I hoped for a really breakthrough. But it isn't.

This phone looks great, big screen with less bezels as possible now that is awesome, plus it's super amoled.

Samsung Galaxy s8 looks awesome without it's physical home button.
The new design is really nice. Specs are also excellent. I hope Samsung will earn much profit from it.

AnonD-427526, 14 Jan 2017Did you know even the iPhone 7 Plus (5.5-inch) even bigger ... moreexactly. people don't understand that just because the phone screen is 5.7-6.0 that the phone bezels are smaller, thus making the phone smaller. my mom has the 6s+ and it's huge compared to my note 5. I will definitely be getting an s8 because I don't utilize the s pen enough to get the note 8 or whatever it'll be called. finally someone understands we want large beautiful screen to read, game, browse test or whatever.

A Glass Of Milk, 13 Jan 20175.5" is the sweet spot in my opinion, 5.7" is a bit too big... moreScreen size being too big or too little depends of the body of the phone. Looking at the bezels of this phone the 5.7 inch screen size may just end up being the same body as the S7 edge which had a 5.5 inch screen so it won't actually be any bigger than that. People complaining about the screen being too big must have forgotten that Samsung has made a mini version of the S series before. They could still possibly release a mini version later down the line.

They increase because some people love to view most of the content of phone, primarily to those who want to experience game in full screen or to easily read book without smirking your eyes because of small letters to easily managed to type keyboard.
