I still use it as my main phone eventhau... moreThe S8's battery life was never the best but it certainly was competitive when compared to other phones on the market with similar specs. I would seriously consider a battery change if you are intending using this phone for the next year or so. Ok, the phone will probably never last the whole day, even with a new battery fitted, if you are a moderate-hi user. BUT I think you will see a big enough difference to justify doing it.

very good phone!!
I still use it as my main phone eventhaugh I have a newer galaxy A53 for two reasons:
1- I costum rommed my S8 to android 13
2- even with android 13, the S8 feels faster than the A53
the only problem is the battery. It can barely get 70 minutes of battery life while gaming.
Note: mine wasnt repaired since bought in may 27 2017

Really amazing phone at this price .. after the use of 5 years never disappoint me any time.. never a sigle regret in any thing..
But now samsung mid range phone too much expensive and low performance in long time..

this phone is rly increadible. I have it since 6 years and its still faster than most budget to middle range phones ( $450 ).this phone also includes a high performance mode which maxes out all its power. I still use this phone as my main driver althaugh I have a newer A53 because I find my S8 faster in high performance.tthe only thing that is not good is the battery.it can barely last an hour of screen time while gaming.otherwise, the phone is increadible. ( this phone is never repaired )

I am thinking to buy Samsung Galaxy note10+ 5g. If i get promotion from my job b'coz now i have not enough money for buying a phone. I like only Flagship phones. Doesn't matter its 3 years old.
