This is the phone I was looking for. Stunning screen for watching videos, really amazing. Perfect size & weight and the best camera on any smartphone, battery enough to last for a day on moderate usage and the price which it is selling right now destroys all the other flagships. S8 rocks!!!

So after the latest update I noticed a problem with my s8. I get a notification that my charge port is wet and can't charge my phone as long the notification is there. So I need to shut it down with charger plugged in and leave it off. Then it will charge, but if I turn it on it stops charging and the notification is back. I never use my phone near water or in the rain. So software issue? Others with the same thing here? I googled it and was a issue in 2017 but not much in 2018. My phone is 5 months old.

Mo... morethat's true , even i've never face this problem before with my samsung smartphones with super amoled display , may be because i use 30 t0 40 % max brightness .. if you want to see a real screen burn and red tint issue on the s8 just go to youtube adrianisen chanel and watch the latest videos with the s8 ... all Samsung edges smartphones have issues with the display ( red tint .. screen burn ... dead pixels ... purple lines .. black crush .......)

Dude, 26 Nov 2018 Does no one here have any problem with screen burn-in? Mo... moreI've used the S6 edge+ and the S7 edge for over 2 years and have never faced any screen burn issues on any of them and the same goes with my current S8. Even my 3 year old J7 didn't had any such issues.

Just got perfect screen protector for my s8 (front and back) ordered it online for just $6 full screen & back protection, comes in different colors which completely changes the look of already gorgeous phone, got two in silver & blue colors, it's not flimsy like the normal screen protectors, feels solid and typing on it is flawless.
