When mine drops down to 15% I receive a warning and it automatically reverts to Battery Saver mode. Nothing like what you're describing.

Is anyone else facing an issue of sudden battery discharge on S8 when battery goes below 20%. What usually happens is within just a few minutes battery goes from 20 to 0%. Otherwise battery discharges normally.

I said that Facebook usage runs my battery down much quicker than any other app for some reason. Other than that the phone is first class and it's my fourth Samsung phone. They just keep getting better and better.

Never buy a phone with non replacable battery! They are robbing you blind! Realy, every 2 years 1000 dollars for Samsung phone? Thats why I never bought iPhone.
