No edge, but they scrapped the durable hard plastic frame for a metal one that is more prone to scratches and dents. The textured back also feels cheaper than the one used for the last 2 Active models

It is freaking awesome. I pre ordered one yesterday when it opened up, and have a meteor grey one on my doorstep by 1pm today. It is amazing, fast, and I'm fighting the urge to drop it to test it. The thing is stout, and looks like it will take a beating and walk away the winner.

y, the pixel last was 576ppi n new were 507ppi..ey! new should be better ma..n sum more S7active suppport underwater mode shootin'..y no such mode now?..gettin' worser?..congrat..fingerprint on bak..n iris scanner too..they should put the 6GB ram arena 4 dis newTank!!

Correct me if I'm wrong, the regular Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus have screen resolutions of 2960x1440 pixels. Why does the Active only have 2560x1440?
