walid, 26 Nov 2020why no FM ?The S8 Active does have FM radio...you need to have a 3.5mm headphone jack plugged in to act as an antennae and a fm radio application installed on the phone.

Any chance we get Android 10 update for this? It's still a great phone. I would pay for the upgrade. I'm still wondering why aren't there paid OS for phones anyway. You want it, buy it. Why free, but only 2-3 years? These phones can work 5+ years, no problem. At least for me. I believe one day it will be that way.

The specs state that is no built-in fm radio, and that is wrong. My S8 Active does have an FM radio built in. You use the headphones as an antenna.

Such an amazing phone! You get all the perfect features possible just like the regular s8, but on top of all that you finally have an ostensibly gigantic battery to match the powerful hardware and, as a result, it becomes a flawless phone

Kayknight, 06 Apr 2020How can I upgrade to OneUI?OneUI is Samsung's branding for its custom UI fork of Android 9+. If you install the OEM Android 9 update, then you have OneUI; it's not separate from the OS update (unless you're installing third-party firmware/OS packages).

Kayknight, 06 Apr 2020How can I upgrade to OneUI?Sorry but Samsung stopped updating their S8 Actives it's only getting security updates at best. You'd be better off finding an Android 10 ROM on XDA Forums or buying a new phone with Android 10.

I'm very happy with the s8 active i bought a couple months back, its very fast and has good battery life. has amazing features like fast charging and wireless fast charging and more. i hope samsung makes a phone like this again

The Samsung S8 Active over all is amazing. Great battery life, super tough, pleasing design, great operation, and much more. The only complaint I have is the finger print unlock thing is on the back and hard to find with your finger instead of the previous design of the thumb print on the home button.
