Samsung Galaxy S8 Oreo update now available in more markets

Samsung started rolling out the Galaxy S8/S8+ Oreo update last week. At that time, the update was only hitting units in Germany. Now, a handful of more markets have started getting it. Specifically, the list includes France, Poland, and India.

The update carries a firmware version of G950/G955-FXXU1CRAP for the Galaxy S8 and S8+, respectively.

In India and Poland, reports say, only those who participated in the Oreo beta program are currently getting the update. We expect the same to be the case in France as well.

Sadly, there's still no information on when the roll out will begin in the United States.

So...is the update "crap" or not?

For Baltics version SEB of Oreo isnt made yet. That is interesting how somebody got update. Can somebody explain how updates are spreaded to consumers. Are they related to operator or first registered country off phone?
