Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ and Galaxy A8+ (2018) getting new updates

Himanshu, 20 January 2018

Samsung has started pushing out new updates to Galaxy S8 series and the newly-launched Galaxy A8+ (2018) smartphones. Arriving as versions G9500ZCU2AQL2, G9550ZCU2AQL2, and A730FXXU1ARA6, respectively, the updates bring along Android fixes for the month of January.

While the Galaxy S8/S8+ January patch is rolling out in China, the Galaxy A8+ (2018) update is hitting units in India, where the device is set to go on sale today. As is usually the case with OTA roll outs, it might take time for the update to hit your device, so be patient.

So no oreo update for s8 or Note 8 soon. For hight end phones this is not acceptable. I love my note 8 - but pathetic software update makes me think about other option.
