Anandtech - The Snapdragon 845 Galaxy S9+ posted excellent battery life in our test and lands only third to the iPhone 8 Plus and the Mate 9. Unfortunately we never tested the S8+ to see the generational difference, but it shouldn’t be too different from the S835 regular S8 at around the 10 hour mark.

The Exynos 9810 Galaxy S9 absolutely fell flat on its face in this test and posted the worst results among our tracking of the latest generation devices, lasting 3 hours less than the Exynos 8895 Galaxy S8

Nearly same price as note 9. But s9+ is a beautiful phone and i wouldnt upgrade to s10 as ive only owned this phone few months and its getn pie early in new year. Im happy to own this beaitiful phone:)

Snapdragon users want to show that there Soc are better than Samsung custome Soc and that’s not true.

Maggi, 17 Nov 2018According to samsung s9+ will get pie update starting from ... moreI really enjoy owning my s9 plus also :) and the leaks so far suggest the s10 will be awesome to be honest and with all the new tech it will have it might be worth getting but we will have to see hey but at least the s9 plus will then drop in price massively and be in the price range of people who aren't so well off as other people and so they can then afford this wonderful phone.

According to samsung s9+ will get pie update starting from new yr. S10 wnt have be a major upgrade from s9 plus. Yes it will have few extra specs. But not worth giving up my s9+ which iis a great phone. Beautiful and pleasure owning this phone:)

7nm Kirin 980 and better GPU, but single core performance of S9 plus Exyons still better than Kirin 980.
3D Face ID on screen fingerprint scanner.
Bigger battrey mAh4200.
Reverse charging (chatging ither phones through your phone by touching).
Resale value after 30 month of use drop 40 to 50% all android phones resale value aren’t that good to be honest.
Camera very good, but video aren’t that good and camera some time oversharpense photos

Basically mate 20 Pro it’s combined of S9 plus desgin+ iPhone X 3D face+ iPhone kinda off UI with Huawei touch.

PS. There’s some screen issue with mate 20 Pro don’t know if you aware of it?!


Galaxy S9 plus I think better wait for the Galaxy S10 plus it’s going to be better phone than both S9 plus and mate 20 Pro, but hope Samsung add 3D Face ID same as mate 20 pro.

Even my s7 edge i bought a year ago got 1st oct patch update. I know its few yrs old. But ive only owned it a year. Good for backup phone if i ever need it ( hopefuly i wont) cos im really happy with s9 plus. But again like i said its good to get security updates.

SIM f... moreI'm in the uk also and I have the same security patch for my titanium grey s9 plus unlocked s9 plus also which is great and it's far from my HTC U11 plus which hasn't had a single security update at all from HTC who are a joke and deserve to go out of business.

I love my s9 plus its awesome and the best smartphone I have ever had.

I think it’s about sale and note line actually selling better than s line over here in uae, honestly I’m really thinking to sell it and get iPhone XS Max I got used one in excllent condition from friend of mine for good price.

Anyway, good that Samsung are doing a good job with regular patches.
