I think they're saving the actual innovation for next year, since it's the 10y anniversary for the galaxy series. At least they solved some design issues for those who had them. Still a good phone, but I don't think it's worth that extra $ for those who want to upgrade from s8/s8+

Even pixels google phones supports only for 2 to 3 years maximium due to the android hardware and software limitation, so we can’t blame Samsung they’re trying there best through security patches that fix lot of issues with there phones and hope Samsung made there own OS in near future since Samsung owns the best hardware behind Apple.

I've had this phone for about 3 months now and it's been amazing! Hands down the best phone I've ever had across the board, speed, camera, durability (water, dust, etc), all around a great device. The wireless charging is a joke, I got the official Samsung charge station and it is very particular on the placement of the device on the pad, and if you have a case on, even a thin one, you're looking at 6-7 hours from 15-20% to a 100% full charge. On the device itself, my only issue is with Bixby, which is easy to remove/turn off.

The "On The Go" connection to a usb thumb-drive on the SGS9+ finds the drive but can't actually display what's on it. Consulted Samsung techos who tried everything (different connectors etc. etc.) and yes they agreed it doesn't work. They guess that it is Android Oreo that is causing the issue and yes they expect it to resolve with the next Android "P" release.
Works OK on my SG Note 8 which is also on Android Oreo.
