NOTHING new compared to the old one. PLUS they are stubborn with using that curved screen that is ANNOYING and is one of the reason why I will NEVER buy Samsung, besides the UGLY User Interface and the POOR QUALITY!
And again... that stupid curved edge that makes the phone impossible to hold without touching some buttons.
And last but not least, Samsung has gone insane with unreasonable PRICING! It's worth that kind of money!!!

Example: nikon 1.8 50 mm lens is yours for 100$ ... a Nikon 1.4 50mm lens is yours for 500$!
Photograhy technology is not like phones technology at all.. another thing to take in count: why do you want 24mp? Are you going to print a photo in a size more than 1x1 meter print size with super high luster paper? If not then why you need so many pixels? Also bigger mpixls means bigger images wich means slowly and more resources in post processing..

Sansung continues to use the same main camera of the s7. The only thing that I modified was the opening f1.5 of the s9, in front of the opening f1.7 of the s7 and s8. It does not increase from 12mpx since s7. It would be more practical to increase to 24mpx, with a sensor of not less than 1.7 micrometers, instead of the brutality of putting two cameras

Because a/the price tag is a crucial point in a purchase, but if as you said their prices (S9+/Note8) are almost the same there, so basically the only question that remains is regarding the S pen/Stylus. In other words, if you really need the S Pen, just go right away for the Note 8 and just don't think about the S9/Plus. But if the S pen is not a must have for you!? So just forget the Note 8 and 100% go right away for the S9 Plus (again, once their prices are almost the same there). S9 Plus will be the best bet/choice (overall, better). Hope you've a more clear target now.

I am far from being happy with S8+ and seeing S9 + has damn near same camera quality, its time for me to give LG V30 a chance, sorry I have been with Samsung for over 9 years, this camera sucks and it freezes, and my warranty just expired I can not win, they never sold junk until they tried to redo the Note 5 I had one with Tmobile and Sprint they worked great after Note 5 seems everything went to rubbish! and no I am not an Apple fan either that is another form of trash.

- Keeping the 3.5mm Headphone Jack.
- Relocating the fingerprint scanner after the s8 fail
- Keeping the expandable storage some other maker have already taken away.
- Not following that akward notch trend.
Dont's:
- Not allowing users to customize the Bixby button function.
- Removing the so loved and useful IR Blaster
- Not increasing the battery capacity, making a top of the line phone fail to even low mid-rangers.
Thank you Samsung! For not removing the 3.5mm Headphone Jack.

Your plastic S5 will never return in flagship. Metal phone is reserved for the midranger which cant took the advantage of wireless charging.
