While I used S6 before S9 plus with Nougat 7 there was CLEAR BAGGAGE & APP INFO highlight were appearing when we press & hold any APP in HOME window which was very useful to go directly in APP setting window to clear memory or enable or disable the app.
I don't know why these were removed in this Oreo version by adding some rarely required option i.e SELECT,remove from HOME etc
Samsung why u people making the things uneasy while we are moving ahead

you must be change the battery capacity to 5000mah and that is good for the unit samsung galaxy s9 +

elr2d2, 26 Mar 2018which phone are you using?The standard S9 sized phone (5.8 inch) but I've compared a standard 5.5 incher (iPhone 7 plus) to the S9+ and it's not that different... the S9+ has taller screen. true. but the size is about the SAME as the 5.5incher.

I have the S9+ , first, and most annoying - you can not record call anymore. ! For a "Business handset" it is no go. Imagine you're in car and you can't took note ...
Samsung is always "looking" what are you doing , the phone "remind" your meetings, count steps (who ask?) etc".
And last , Bloatware .. yes, there are , you can't uninstall them. Well, it looks like it is my last Samsung. If you wanted to know: Samsung does not care that their client(s) has problem , not even reply from many e-mails I've sent.

I hate Hybrid Dual SIM. I like only dedicated dual sim slot and dedicated memory card slot.

Sony doesn't copy HTC, Sony make the less bezel with dual front firing stereo speakers and the glossy back cover is curved and balanced on it center. HTC has much thicker back cover on it upper position, HTC doesn't adopt Corning Gorrila Glass 5, HTC doesn't have seamless metal frame, HTC only have IP67, so you say Sony copy HTC, I am not agree with you. Of you say the curved back cover is same, actually it is not the same because HTC U11 has raise the position around the camera area, while Xperia XZ2 is raise from the center of the phone so you can see the glossy effect is totally different. Furthermore the Sony adopt anti-twist metal frame it is much much durable than HTC U11 on durable designs!

Non responsive screen points, can be found by touching each pinch of diagonal screen. Definately you will find and area top selfie camera under an 1/2". I conclude this is hardware definitely, or it could be in every set in first batch! Service centre have no clear instructions what to do, only verbal excuses!

S9 have better camera aperature and does better photos at worse weather.
Samsung Have Ip68 and superamoled display and have an SD Card slot. But thats it.
Compared to xiaomi with LCD screen same CPU and GPU 8GB ram compared to 4GB ram of S9, 4500 mAh compared to Samsung 3000 mAh and 125GB diskspace with no SD card slot compared to 64 with SD card slot.
Man xiaomi is a lot better for much less money or please tell me which of above difference have a 700 eur value???

well.. in my country they fully refunded customer'... moreLol, they made a full refund and they would give free gifts if they needed to save their reputation, anyway, this doesn't change my point, they never managed to solve the issue, and since the S9 touch screen issue is a hardware then it is very concerning.
I never had a chance to visit "my favorite brand" service center btw, so no comment.
