From a technical standpoint, I don't think its worthwhile to buy the S9+ if you already owned the S8+ as the upgrades hardly justify the increase in price. But yet from a techie standpoint, the S9+ seems like a pretty sick phone. Sorry but I don't care too much of benchmark results, things that are nice with the S9+ are the dual cams with variable aperture, stero speakers and my personal favorite, the new Exynos SoC.

handyfan, 01 Mar 2018There are definitely some improvements with the S9 like the... moreI do not agree I think the camera improvements are significant the sound by what have read is a lot better partially due to AKG/Harmon being involved along oth 6gb ram like the note 8 and the impressive new Qualcomm 845 processor to this one and am really looking forward to it

There are definitely some improvements with the S9 like the finger print scanner being in the right place, stereo speakers which Samsung's flagship phones lacked so far and also some extras/minor improvements with the camera. However, if you own an S8 you should ask yourself if the change is really worth it.

If it will not fail after long term immersion I call it waterproof.
