apart from the snapdragon chip being slightly newer there isn't much difference between this and the note 8, and with any luck the note 8 might see a price drop when the s9 goes on sale

While most comments say S9+ isn't a very good upgrade, and I totally agree, but we gotta look at things objectively. Camera being Leica approve doesn't mean it is good. Of course, I am not siding Samsung, but there are people who like the phone and will still buy it. Looking at it positively, it most probably is the first phone to be using SD845 (although I am lucky to stay in an area that is supposedly rumored to be using the Exynos chip instead).
End of the day, top brand will always charge a premium price. Just look at Gucci and other brands.

nothings special except the dual cam at the back of s9+ but not impress its like s8 with dual cam at the back sad :'( I love Samsung but much better to go on s8.

The video capabilities in the rumors are 4K@60fps and super-slo-mo at 960fps, and the camera is likely to be an f1.4 for s9+ and the battery is said to be remaining at 3500mAh(all according to the rumors)

I saw Stereo Speakers for the first time in Samsung history and I freaked the heck out! All Samsung needs to do is allow me to get rid of their garbage bloatware and keep the jack and then we're talkin'!
Also for those wanting 4K DISPLAY....really? You wanna suck the battery dry? That's not necessary. 2K is plenty.

I have a u11 and g6 and I was interested in the U11 plus or s8 plus and I have the money put aside for my next flagship and I think I'll wait for the s9 plus because of the stereo speakers on this and I hope they be as good as htc phones.
I look forward to getting one of these.

Nothing worth upgrading from my S8+ for, I will await the S10 or possibly go back to the Note. Loved my Note 4 and do miss the stylus.
