This phone in 2020 is only good for heavy users who dont mind using it with power bank or wall charger plugged in.
I also made the mistake of buying a 2 years old Galaxy S9+ and now I am in pain, after that I also researched on smartphone batteries.
I believe that you should consider buying smartphones and power banks with Lithium Polymer batteries, so far according to my research Lithium Polymer's only draw back is its size due to its low energy density bigger size is required to accommodate the same amount of charge, rest it out performs Lithium Ion in every way.
My comment should be specially interesting for our friends who consider/compare buying a used Samung flagship vs brand new budget smartphone.
Example: Research videos here on Samung Galaxy flagship series, as soon as a Samsung Flagship smartphone is out within 4-6 months videos start to pop up about controlling battery drain on almost all of those flagship smartphones, that's because Samsung deliberately uses low capacity batteries.
In Samsung Smartphones battery drain issues are not always due to bloatware, it is due to them using low capacity batteries in their powerful smartphones knowing that as soon as the battery performance degrades it will be not enough for the user (to understand more, research battery life cycles and effects on a battery life reference to its charge & discharge cycles).

Was this phone just discontinued? Samsung's website says the S9, S9+ are no longer available for purchase from their website.

You can check performance of 9810 on antutu and geekhbench even speed test comparison on YouTube and also check real performance day to day life so you have no knowledge and you are hater of Samsung

9810 is terrible, not even close to Snapdragon 835, forget about 845,855. Lags too much while gaming.
