Hope will fix fast batte... moreSame here... I just followed the Battery Calibration in youtube by wiping the cache partition, dialing the code for battery calibration and the last is draining you battery to zero and recharge it while on Off until reached 100%.
Suprisingly, as i finished the calibration. I turned it On my S9+ and trying to check the phone settings. Then Noticed fmut went down 1% on battery for doing nothing.. Then I put it in my pocket and went back home from work. I travelled around 20 mins. The I check my S9+ now its 96%. Im do disappointed. I aint do anything even listening to music.
Please SAMSUNG dont put something tricky on software updates. Because you want us to buy the new samsung S10 or Note10.

You can try wiping cache partition as this will solve any battery draining or apps that could be causing it. If all.else fails then factory reset your phone. But make sure to backup your stuff before doing it.

Hope will fix fast battery drain cause it's a serious problem with me.
I have a global version. Last update reseived in october no more.

Curiosity, 22 Dec 2019I already did and wiping the cache partition too Ive got... moretheir maybe just LCD screen, you want visually enjoyment, then should surrender battery. you can switch to hd mode on display if want more battery. put more apps to sleep. Huawei did it this way, killed all backgrounds apps by default.

Ive got jelous to my friend usi g Huawei Phones and Oppo (not a flagship phones) but their battery life is very impressive. I hope SAMSUNG focus on battery and fix this issue.

I am also using Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube and few hours games too,
Even though I will manage over 1 day battery with single charge
1 year and 6 months completed for my device and working like new on day 1

Curiosity, 20 Dec 2019I am not a gamer user type. I only use common apps such as ... moreYou are right. I am facing the same problem and like you my uwage is also very limited. I mean no games only calls, WhatsApp and YouTube.
However, i have noticed that this issue of quick drainage of battery has creeped in after November 2019 Security Patch update. It has even worsoned after December's update. Hopefully, the next updateit will fix this issue.
Other than this issue, S9 Plus is a beauty.

I am not a gamer user type. I only use common apps such as Facebook, Youtube, Whatsapp, Google Browsing, and Default Samsung Camera.
But the BATTERY Percent went down drastically about 1% in every minute.
Battery life is really disappointing.
Does anyone also experience this? And did an update to Android 10 and fix the Battery Issue. I like this phone asside from battery life

Because hard resetting by... moreYes you can wipe cache partition that way and also factory reset . I just wiped cache partition. But I did a factory reset
through settings. Just do factory reset. But backup your all your stuff before doing it to sd card or through smart switch.

Because hard resetting by.holding and pressing the power and volume dow together for 3-5 secs. And the phone will restart.
Or you meant is factory reset?

Has anyone else got the feature in contacts at the bottom QR code ? It scans to add contacts in phone? I have it on s10 plus on android 10. But I just noticed it today in s9 plus.
