Worst type of phone you can ever buy. Within less than seven (7) months of purchase, the phone started giving a water in port error every time I tried to charge it. After trying on numerous occasions to dry it out, the problem still won't go away. I have to clear the USB cache to remove this error. Another issue that occurred is that the screen brightness does not work. My phone literally blacks out when I adjust the brightness. I can only either use the lowest brightness setting or the highest brightness setting, nothing in between. Although the display and finger sensors work great I won't recommend wasting your money on this defective item.

I been using this phone for over 5/4 years i dont remember when i got it. Model F/DS
    It has many problems
    broken fingerprint
    amoled burn in
green line in the middle cost about 14kphp for a replacement
    dents in the corners
    bad battery replacement after replacement

as a user for this phone for a long while it has greatly serve me for everything photos gaming, and day to day usage the user interface has serve me well and got me everything i wanted.

its time for a replacement any suggestions dont plan on going expensive now just mainly gaming, camera, day to day usage.
what i had in mine was
    a73

      Totally agree with you

Efren, 17 Feb 2023I have flickering issue on my screen, any suggestions plsSame here.
I also have flickering issue on my S9+ and no solution yet.
I complained at samsung office and was told I need to change the screen.

To me, it is not a hardware issue.
              It is region issue.
The flickering increases under duress heat.
I even asked samsung office to help me reload the software, as I can't upgrade my device (still on Android 9), buh I was advised not to tamper with the software, as my device is made for UK region, not Nigerian region.

I have seen many complaints online too, without solution.
It is only for us to continue using, then get another samsung device.
I heard S10 series is facing the same problem.

My 9mo old pixel 5a just croaked and I resorted to my old s9+. Wow. Still ticking just fine. Loved this phone. Back is cracked and battery life sucks. Keep filling up the storage and have to clear cache several times a day but it still works! Great phone.

Hey, my S9+ got broken 2 days ago and now the state of my phone is dead total. The cost of the service is approximately about 239$. And i think i would rather buy a new phone than fixing my beloved 5 years old phone. S9+ is still a beast in 2022, but the battery life is lost to the newer phones. I am thinking about buying A53 5G or maybe other S series, any recommendations?
