Otherwise, I agree with you that at least Android 11 should be available for s9.

I'm literally the best to ask this because my girlfriend bought a brand new iphone 8 whilst i bought a brand new S9. at the same time, and we live together. So I assure you over the years weve had much opportunity to compare the two, and the S9 tops it in every single way, including longevity

I still can't believe that there won't be Android 11 with OneUI 3.0 update for this phone. How come the Note10 Lite, which is powered by the same Exynos 9810 chipset as this phone, can get Android 11 with OneUI 3.0 and eligible for three major OS update? On that basis, this phone should have absolutely no problem running all the way up to Android 13 with OneUI 5.0. It's totally absurd!

J09, 31 Jul 2021S9A12 is a cheap phone. Bad screen bad cpu low ram and weak optimization also camera is so bad.

MWM, 15 Aug 2021I want for daily use would it survive for about 2 to 3 year... moreThis is the second year since I have it. The battery is extremely bad, it doesn't survive one day. Moreover, when it gets to 20%, in just seconds it will go to 0 % and turn off. Worst phone ever.

The USB Port is like S8 and S10, don't know why it most likely error charging, maybe defect usb port at the some years?
But try plugging and unplugging, S9 lucky if it is fast charging under 3 times testing, mostly maybe 4 5 or 7 times until fast charging notif is shown

I found it rather scandalous that Samsung would recycle the same Exysnos 9810 from this phone and put it on the Note10 Lite while at the same made it eligible for three major OS update. On the basis of Note10 Lite launched with Android 10 out of the box, Android 13 with OneUI 5.0 should be accessible to this phone as well.

Best brand = iphone 7 ( until ios 16 )
Best build = s9 (1 more year security updates)
But for daily use (not gaming), i suggest A12

Samsung knox will forever broken once the phone is rooted and thats not repairable. The only way to repair is to buy a new mainboard. Sorry.

Go to setting > device care > battery > charging > fast charging and turn it on.
