Buddika, 18 Dec 2019Majority of people are here use their mobile phones for gam... moreSo pls stop saying it has a bad battery, coz it leaves a bad impression on other people who want to buy this great phone, most of us "normal" users dont use smartphones for gaming and photo or video editing (i know that coz im a video editor) and never have used a smartphone for that purpose, coz it can never be what a desktop pc can.
Gaming on a smartphone :D is a joke, not even a PS4 can hold a candle to desktop pc when it comes to gaming, so pls dont confuse what you are doing on smartphones as editing or playing games, and STOP saying it has a bad battery,coz its not designed to DO those things, and its not our "normal" user fault that you guys have made your smartphone your entire LIFE.

Murray, 09 Dec 2019An a70 or S9 which is bestDon't buy the mid range series from Samsung they ain't good at all, I've used an A50 & sold it within a week as it had wifi issues & horrible camera. Just go blindly for the S9 & you'll be more than happy.

To all of you who say this phone has a bad battery, what the f**k you do with your phone, sleep for hours on it?!?! Do you have a LIFE at all, or the smartphone is your entire LIFE?
I am really curious, how can u kill the battery in less then a day? no matter how hard i tried (3-4 hours social media, youtube, i even download torrents on my phone) on all the smartphones i had i could not kill the battery in less then a day, im always left with 25-35% at the end of the day.
So how in hell do you kill the battery in less then a day?

Jawir750, 26 Nov 2019I think you can install Lineage Custom ROMit will break the knox hardware support which can't be restored because of hardware switch thing.
some samsung's or security concerned apps need the knox.

Also try to disable 2G because 2G doesn't allow simultaneous voice and data connection.
I use More Shortcut app to access hidden Device Info app then only select LTE+WCDMA.
The device info app in Samsung only able to control sim 1. in some other android phone, it can control both cards.

the screen color turned dull since few months ago and the glass panel got scratch easily.
in comparison, the screen of my s7 is still fully ok

planned to buy this but 4GB of RAM looks worrying. i would like to keep my phone for 2 or 3 years, is it reasonable to buy this phone or should i just go with new mid-ranger that have 6GB RAM or more like A70s?

I am planning to buy this phone but saw plenty of reports about silent phase of 7 to 8 seconds during calls where neither persons can hear what the other is saying. Has this been resolved?
