Updated to pie 3 weeks back, no issues till now. Battery performance has increased. I used to get 3hrs SOT on oreo (I am a heavy user btw), Now I am getting about 4hrs of SOT. Standby time has become better. Initially it would drain from 20-25% overnight, now its only 5-6%. Bixby has some issues, it doesnt understands even the basic commands (who uses it anyways), I think the gestures are still buggy as they wont respond sometimes.

I bought this device international version to be use in usa last summer, it's my first time buying a brand new Samsung flagship, hope it would work well with my business, run uber and lyft apps on it. unfortunately it always frost on me then I have to restart the phone, even I kept the phone and the apps at the most updated conditions it still happens till now, very annoying.....

I absolutely hate my Galaxy 9. Absolutley hate it. If I had to start listing all the reasons and screw-ups it has committed on its own, I would get a severe headache. Never ever again will I bother with any Samsung phone, period.

After updating to pie just hard reset your phone it will be okay, mine got no problem very smooth... though battery still not good...

I was a bit puzzled bye the Pie update at first, but know i found it very good, with better battery life. Love that phone,phone but maybe i will get S10 Lite if it is even smaller.

Each to thier own. So dont jump in and acuse me of saying everyone should own phablet. I could say Not everyone wants a smaller phone. Ive had it. Nothing works. Its needs more updates to fix it properly. Lots of ppl are complaining about it. So plz be repectful if you want other users to repect you!

I has been on 9.0 Pie for a few months now. Once you get past new navigation changes it's all bells and whistles. If someone can't handle technology changes I always recommend a rotary phone.

Power off the phone, now press and hold volume up+ Bixby + power button, release when you see that blue menu, navigate down to clear cache partition. Reboot.
Anyway in my case pie kind of sucks, guess I will need factory reset.
This procedure above fixed all my lags, mostly laggy UI, but battery runs worse. I use to get 7-8hrs ost, now 5-6hrs.. but to lazy to do all those tweaks (backups) again.. ah well

Good phone for the most part disgusting company when it comes to updates. My only regret it's not going with oneplus or pixel. =_=

My employer gives me a chocie between the Huawei Mate 20 and the Samsung S9. The Mate 20 is newer, bigger, bigger battery,double internal memory... But is is better than the S9. Could you guys please give some advice and or user feedback? Thanks

Do anyone's S9 become lagging problem? My phone still stay Oreo, but when open the camera mode/ use much more apps, it starts lag.
After update Pie/ OneUI, does it solve these problems!! I wonder to choose Note 9 before I bought S9 :O)
