I'm one of the biggest Samsung fans around. They make solid and admirable phones period ESPECIALLY the flagship ones.
I got a hands on experience on a S9 and S9+ over the weekend and I'm a bit disappointed with the audio seeing that this is the first time stereo speakers are implemented. The reason I'm disappointed is because both the earpiece and loudspeakers sound the same way. No difference whatsoever...mind you though they sound good, I have two phones a Galaxy S5 and a Huawei P9 Plus. The P9 Plus has stereo speakers and though it's older than the S9/S9+ the P9 Plus speakers sound better than the S9s speakers. Also, the S9s doesn't have the portait/landscape audio feature like the P9 Plus (anybody who have experienced the P9 Plus audio in full will understand what I'm saying). The P9 Plus pumps a whole more bass from the bass speaker and the tweeter seems to shoot more treble from the tweeter speaker. I just don't hear the excellent effect from both S9s like what the P9 Plus have.
Even though the P9 Plus is a very good phone I still don't want to give up my S5. I prefer the S5 keyboard and the S5 Wi-Fi antenna among some other little things. Though the P9 does have a lot more going for it in comparison to the S5. My preference choice is simply complicated like a lot of relationships out there.
On a final note, after my experience with both S9s and reading GSMArena's own review, the S9s should have been called S8 Plus.

S9 has best Stereo speakers, better performance and obviously great Low light camera. These are the main difference between S8 and S9

saksham, 11 Apr 2018is there any need to upgrade from s8 plus to s9 ?? Hell no. There's hardly any difference, and to go from one expensive phone to another one in less than a year is just stupid.

S9 price too high for me, having A8 which is half the price of S9. Just don't like S curve edges. Less a bit on specs. But services and availability is why I bought Samsung since my S2 now obsolete (still working).

AnonD-751039, 10 Apr 2018I've been a Samsung fan for many years (since Note II), but... moreI have the galaxy s8. It's very comfortable and I have never touched the edges. The problem is that the bigger variants are a nightmare to hold. I agree with you. But the small variant is good. Sad thing that bigger variants have bigger batteries and more features like dual cameras.

I've been a Samsung fan for many years (since Note II), but since Samsung insist on the stupid curved screen as the only option, I have to leave. I am so sick of the curve - it's uncomfortable to hold, it makes protectors bulky and ineffective, can't use the pen (note 8) on the edges, can't touch on the edge of the playing field in games, extra touches and miss-touches because your other fingers are already touching the screen just by holding the phone. Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you must. There is really very, VERY, little advantage to the stupid curve. Now opinions will vary, and that's ok - problem is that Samsung don't offer the flat screen option anymore - so they will lose those people. Like me. And I am disappointed about that.
