C'polo, 22 Mar 2012Can this phone make video calls on Skype?i cannot promise you this but seeing it has a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera which is pretty great. it should.
i think the highest is only 2mp for front facing cameras in this current age. its most likely will very well be able to.
also Samsung heavily markets that lately on almost every new device they have sold. the Galaxy S II as well, so this should be no different considering its like the S II's little sister.
its actually almost exactly like the S II except it doesnt have a 8mp camera instead a 5mp, which is still very good for a phone.
especially considering samsung heavily advertises that with their phones lately i dont see why it wouldnt.

i care about how the phone performs. do we forget there was something called the internet and wifi way before high data speed existed on phones and to be honest id like to keep it that way.
its because of people like you carriers are forcing data plans on every smart phone they sell and even going as far to lie to customers saying the phone does not work without their version of the internet which is complete and utter nonsense.
there is literally no reason what so ever people need to have over even 3mb speeds on a freaking cell phone.
this phone will be on T-Mobiles newer LTE which is 42Mbps. that is far beyond what a person with a computer would normally need let alone stupid kids on their phones all day. so i dont understand why people give into this stupidity.
the phone will be great bottom line even if it was a 3G phone, it would be great to me without any data because i have internet and wifi capable devices already which i pay a great deal of money for.
why on earth am i going to complain about or even care that much about 4g, let alone want to pay for a cell phone carriers version of the net, when i already pay for 100Mbps/wifi hot spot enabled ATT connection. ill pass on paying for extra internet fees when the phone can easily use my already existing internet provider.
people aren't smart. that statement was a testament to how badly companies are ripping people off and no on is smart enough to know better. too many dumb kids flooding the market. carriers are clearly taking great advantage of all these fools following the ignorant G-hype.
bottom line like i said, if this phone is anything like its mother the S II. its going to be a great phone hands down, Samsung has some of the best phones i can find that literally slap the iphone in the face benchmark wise in every aspect let alone almost any other android phone.
its a awesome phone for 149.99 and thats all that should matter.

LTE technically isnt even 4G...only LTE Advanced when it is released will be 4G. This phone as far as I can see is not even standard LTE capable...so why is it called 4G? tsk tsk tsk.
