I've been using galaxy s duos 2 for more than two years now and I feel confident to say that this phone is at high quality.. still working well without any problems..
Surely it's now an old model and it suffers lags and performance issues but I think it still a good dual sim choice for light users and limited budget ones.

Worst phone I have used till date ...
Every time lags and very poor battery performance I have changed battery twice in 1 year and small games also lags alot don't buy if u have not patient to wait because app opening time and other processing time is very very very slow......
Better to buy another mob at this price range.....
Worst worst and worst phone shame on you samsung...

i've used it for 2 years now. but the battery's lifespan is only about 1 year on the average. so that means i already disposed off 2 battery's. it's not good. the RAM is horrible even with only minimal apps. im looking for another phone now

It is almost 2 years since I bought this phone and it is still working well without any problem. I put a rubber back cover and now the phone can be used as hard as a Nokia 1100. I know that most users say that this phone is very slow. I also had the same problem back then. Performance were not that good, so I found a solution. I rooted this using iroot and removed all unnecessary system applications including default browser, samsung keyboard, file manager, Tmemo and S-planner etc. and it speeded-up the phone. Now I have Whatsapp, fb messenger, UC browser, Google keep, Google calender, Twitter, Skype, ES explorar, MX player, Gmail and fb Lite installed other than the most obvious applications like call, sms and contacts. Even though most of those heavy applications are running as services eating 768MB of limited memory, if you use them in a careful manner you can use this phone as fast as an average phone. (As I know, the system used by this phone is hundred times better than the system they used to send Apollo-11 to the moon with people inside.)
It is almost two years and the battery still lasts a day (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.) with always turned on mobile data and normal use. The back camera is good and it is very good to capture documents. Front camera is actually a waste though.
That is a summary of my experience with Samsung S Duos 2. I thought that it is a good idea to share my experience with S Duos 2 before moving to another phone.
