Bought this mobile last sunday after a lot of analysis and even I was one who was waiting for sony tipo arrival. Finally I was given a choice between Sony Tipo and Samsung S Duos because both were not available earlier in the market and I it was available now at the same time.
Below are the reasons which made me inclined towards buying Samsung S Duos.
Samsung S Duos:
1. 4" Display (233 ppi)
2. Not only skype but 3g call is also possible.
3. Sleek than Sony Tipo,Larger screen
4. Doesn't look like a entry level phone due to its look and feel.
5. 1 GHz Processor
Eventhough I am sony lover, I bought this mobile for the above reasons and that too for a difference of less than 5K.
I waited for sony Tipo for almost close to 100 days and I dont have the patience to wait for Sony J for another 100 days ;)
In a nut-shell its a good phone..no regrets what so ever. :)
The only drawback is Its lags some times

Hi all its really a good phone i was waiting for this phone from the day Samsung announced this,finally got it i am giving my hands on experience review...really it's a worth buy..I think in this price range we are getting more but soon the price will be decreased..1 thing i can say i have compared with htc one v and desire v with my s duos...s Duos Really rocks in design and also in performance..if you don't believe go to shop for hands on experience and get it.

i bought this phne 1 week before...i have a problem..whenever i use internet, my friends have problm calling me..it says tht this no. cant be reached at th moment. but ths does nt occur if i dnt use internet. pls comment

when i check spec i found that the internel memory is 2gb,so please do something. otherwise i do case on samsung

I was purchase yesterday...battery backup one...android 4.1 cool software but slow in operating like make call and etc ..... Disappointed :-( be careful before you bye
