Waiting for next dual sim phone from samsung having some higher specs. over s duo like.....
Display: 4" covering gorilla glass
RAM: 1GB
Video recording : atleast @720p
2ndry camera: 1.3 mp
CPU: 1 GHz dual core Cortex-A9
GPU: Adreno 220
at last and most important
battery: atleast 2000mah having tt 15 hr and net surfing 10 hrs.

Would have much preferred if it did UMTS 850. Else there's no real point.

Bought this mobile last sunday after a lot of analysis and even I was one who was waiting for sony miro's arrival. Finally I was given a choice between Sony Miro and Samsung S Duos because both were not available earlier in the market and I it was available now at the same time.
Below are the reasons which made me inclined towards buying Samsung S Duos.
Samsung S Duos:
1. 4" Display (233 ppi)
2. Not only skipe but 3g call is also possible.
3. Sleek than Sony Miro
4. Doesn't look like a entry level phone due to its look and feel.
5. 1 GHz Processor
Whereas in case of Sony Miro
1. 3.5" Display
2. looks Bulky
3. Sure candidate to show that it is an entry level phone.
4. Skipe call is the only one possible with the front cam.
5. 800 MHz Processor.
Eventhough I am sony lover, I bought this mobile for the above reasons and that too for a difference of less than 2K.
I waited for sony miro for almost close to 100 days and I dont have the patience to wait for Sony J for another 100 days ;)
In a nut-shell its a good phone..no regrets what so ever. :)

Engineer, 25 Sep 2012I bought it on Sunday and it is amazing dual sim smartphone... moredear engineer, it have 4 gb, then why in 1.9 gb? it possible video calling (in fring, skype or others) and also have possible sip setting or voip setting in s duos?? please reply. i am waiting to buy this mobile depend your answer. so please...

I was purchase yesterday...its very nice phone.
Camera is perfect,battery backup one day as usual android phone you know..android 4.0 cool software never seen before..i give the rate 4.5 out of 5.

Cool-J, 27 Sep 2012Samsung i929 is far better... dual sim & quad core CPU!!!Hey Cool J, Galaxy S II Duos is 1.2 Ghz dual core, not quad core. Sims are dual standby. Software is Gingerbread version. So yeah, it cannot hold a candle against S Duos.

i have been reading alot of comments on this phone ,some say (who have purchased it ) that its a great phone but alot of people are saying that it a not a good choice and you will regret after purchasing it , i even heard slowing of touch and it is not responsive as it looks , so i am really very very confused whether to buy it or not ? plz if you have an othentic information regarding this phone , or anyone who owns it so kindly reply me about that should i go for it or not ????

Can somebody explain say if i access internet from sim 2 will my sim 1 still be available if someone calls me on sim 1 i.e. it sim 1 will be on network.
