Im quite sure that the t989 doesn't have gorilla glass unlike the international model. it has "tempered glass."

That's a problem with many smartphones and carriers, and is not unique to the Galaxy S2. These consume a good deal of power/data while running in the background and most cannot be removed unless the phone is unlocked (rooted). Consider having a custom (hacked) ROM installed, use power saving settings, and configure "noisy" applications like email and facebook to not sync automatically.

Really incredible device. Doesn't have the Exynos, but has faster network speed, bigger screen, bigger battery. Better overall package than the other GS2s.

sasa, 09 Apr 2012its the best ever but please i need to know battery life is... moreNo, that's normal for my battery too. I keep a charger in my car charger when I am home. When traveling I just pull out my charger and plug in. It charges pretty fast.

Thanks for your post,i am the proud owner of the HTC S ensation 4g & the Galaxy S2 [t989].1st off in everyday use there's really not much difference in processor speed,i expected a noticeable difference [did't see it].Galaxy is smoother regarding browsing and has a more colorful display but as far as a workhorse is concerned it's Sensation all the way.My biggest dislike with Galaxy is after a call the callers name & number remain even after i press lock button,i have to either backout or hit home. Galaxy is a super phone but lacks many options available on the Sensation.I know your post was about the 989 but i felt someone may be interested. Thank You

homie is tripping if he thinks this is the worst phone ever. just shows that he has no clue what he is talking about. this phone is awesome. i have had no problems with it. and being a techie my self i know for a fact that alot of tech people have said them selves that this one of the best out right now. if you dont know what your talking about dont make your self look stupid.

worst phone i ever had.
after a few months phone just won't charge. This is total garbage and it's just one of the issues. There are like tons more
