TxB, 13 Oct 2011Just got mine today so here's some stuff you might wanna kn... moreThe factory firmware is laggy because of the bloatwares they pre-installed on the phone. Third party firmwares are always better!!!
the phone is super thin already bra. You want it to be paper thin? nonsense. You think people look and care about the look of your phone? I dont think so. Buying a phone is different from buy a car bra. Car you need good exterior. Phone you don't. Don't talk down on this beautiful work of technology.

Attention all, for the last time!!
No, this phone does not support ATT 3g network!!! ATT 3g network frequency is 1900mhz!!! tmobile 3g network frequency is 1700mhz!!! therefore, it can only work with EDGE(2g) on ATT!!!!!!

Fast processor, highest ghz, fastest network speeds & one of biggest screens. Best of the Galaxy S IIs. The Exynos processor in the other variants is barely faster. However, the (up to) 42mbps download speeds of this device is exceptionally faster than the international GS2, as well as AT&T's and Sprints. What's more, this device can be used on both AT&T and T-Mobile. The best "all around" mobile phone on the market, across the board.

Just got mine today so here's some stuff you might wanna know from what I got so far:
Good:
-Camera can be used even below 15% battery until below 5% (could be because of Android version 2.3.4 vs 2.3.5)
-Bigger Screen
-Bigger processor
The bad:
-Graphics laggy while i9100 gives smooth video. (T989 Adreno 220 vs i9100 Mali 400MP)
-Color of screen less vibrant than i9100 (no color option like i9100)
(tested using same video comparison side by side)
-Tmobile software and Internet favorites unremovable.
-physical design is ugly unlike i9100
-Noticably Thicker than i9100

Rumor has it (from TMONEWSdotCOM... their source is the Officially Released T-Mobile Fact Sheet) that the T-Mobile version of the Galaxy S II is actually a Quad-Band 4G device (will ALSO work on AT&T HSPA+ UMTS Band II and V in addition to T-Mo's UMTS Band IV). Does anyone know if there's truth to that? I would love a "future-proof" device in case of a successful AT&T/T-Mobile merger

All of the angry/jealous owners of the original Galaxy S II are going to be busy down-rating this phone now. lol - Faster download speed (up to 42mbps), bigger screen, better benchmark = better Galaxy S II.
