All you need is a screwdriver and a tool similar to a guitar pick to open it up. The tools can be found for just $2-3US online if you don't know where get them locally. There are several YouTube videos clearly showing how to do this.
If you're handy with a heat gun and adhesives, you can even separate the glass layers and replace only what is broken for a lot less than buying a whole assembly.

For the money.. They still dont make phones with the nice specs this phone has meaning 1gb or ram and 16gb or 32 storage...
The best would be 2gb ram 16 or 32 storage..
This is a nice phone. it can be easily updated to jellybean with samsung kies. just download samsung kies and plug up your usb cable and update firmware. that means you will update 4.0 ice cream to 4.1 jellybean which is a big difference and will bring you current in the technology world

i updated my sII to jelly bean 4.2.2 then i restored factory reset from recovery mode and wipe data but after this mobile stuck on samsung logo and cant get into download mode or recovery so i cant even use odin

video calling is determined by your service provider.. if ur service provider deos not support video call can't video call dats it...
