AnonD-57919, 05 Jan 2013guyz can any 1 tell me how can i update my s2 to ICS or JB ... moreIf all you want is to upgrade, you should try the official way through Samsung Kies..google it on your computer, download the software, connect your device and see if it tells you that an update is available..mine came ICS from the box so I think you should find it right away but we're also promised an update to Jelly Bean soon so look out for that.
Make sure to backup all your data before you update your phone!
And..this way you don't have to root it nor download a custom rom, however if you're already rooted you might not be able to update to the official version or the update could unroot your phone.

ApplevSamsung, 04 Feb 2013It's listed as having 4G speeds on the Samsung page...pleas... moreUhhh...It is 4g. I'm pretty sure 42mbps is 4g. Mine has tested at 32mbps on speedtest.net. Probably a lot faster than your overpriced lamet&t/slowrizon service.

My T989 is running Android 4.0.4, and it has NFC. Is NFC listed as "optional" because it wasn't supported by the earlier Android Gingerbread releases? At any rate, the device is most certainly Ice Cream Sandwich upgradable.
