do not flash it with new os,or root.
4.1.1 is stable and good,unless u want more
cause as of now at&t didnt release new ver.
your phone may become brick and useless if u dont know what u are doing if u mess up with its sofware.
use samsung kies or via ota to upgrade.
pros.u can still play high grapcs games(pvz2,callof duty.strike team with no prob or lag)
cons:other new high graphcs games may not work on 4.1.1,and interface,icons and other menu option on 4.3 are not available here.
but still its good even if it only has dualcore,
i just hate that i cant upgrade this to 4.3 without flashing.thats the only negative part and no radio.
SO IF U HAVE PHONE LIKE THIS SGH-i747 let it be.
dont mess it up and waste ur money just to make it more look good and end up holding just a brick.
if ur willing to risk to use mods (i dont advice this)
but u can do what ever u want at your own risk

i tried not changing to all wcdma but it dint work.
so i have to change band to use mobile internet,
u can see 4g icon besides your signal,
not sure with globe but u can try this
*#2263# choose wcdma then wcdma all,then restart to make sure.
load some regular load atleast 10 pesos(this is the common rate for mobile int.)use dolphin browser if u can get in to google browser then your good.dolphin browser is one of the best browser for this phone.
my phone came from canada,its already open for any sim here(not rooted and original even o.s i used an app to test if its fake s3.and its not)i tried smart LTE but i havent tried to use the 4g band to smart.and even globe.suncellular(tested)it works for me.

I have the same problem with 3G on Brazil. My solution? I have tried cyanogen mod's. First, 10.3, then 10.2... and for last, 10.1... and the last solved my problem and works very fine with 3G WCDMA

i got this set today but cant activate 3g (HSDPA).

pls if u are having mmi code invalid problems,, Its service provider end problem but they cant resolve it
bcoz issue of 2g ,2.5g or 3g exchange. Suppose Your
phone supports 4G but where you use your phone in there
exchange is 3G then problem occurs.If phone and exchange
have same network specifications then you will not face any
problem.
